(0:00)The "Meh" Feeling
A man's life is not measured by the abundance of his material possessions. We can't measure our life by excitement. We can't. The way you feel about your life is the product of what you think about your life. If you think there's something wrong with your life, you're going to feel bad about it. Unfiltered. Hello. Welcome to another episode of PF Unfiltered. And my name is Kenneth Onigbinde Grind and I have with me here today Roselyne and nice to see you guys again. And we have the PF the PF Unfiltered. Waguana. Wuan PF. I like you guys. You guys, you're very chill. You're not like those other hooligans. Thank you. Your vibe is very calm. It's going to be a calm episode today. When higan number one is here, it's not calm. Mhm. And holy number two between those two, but the energy is still going to be the energy will be all right. Are you serious? We're going to ramp it up, man. I was looking forward to a movie. That's what he told me. I was like, huh? We're going to ramp it up. Okay. Well, whatever, man. Let's do this. Speaking about energy, right? So today
(1:11)Living on Autopilot
someone kind of sent me a video and then in that video in the clip some uh the person was talking about how they feel they feel like they're just here like they're just they're aware of their surroundings. They're aware of their life. Like it's not like they feel any sort of negative feelings but they're just like I'll put it this way. They just are. Right. And it was something that hit me because earlier today as well when I was like I decided to put some stuff on the calendar so I could do them as a routine. And in that moment I was like wait yeah I do have routines and I just do stuff like almost on autopilot. And sometimes that makes it feel like I don't even have to like really think about it. And it's almost like there's no art in some of the things I do. I'm just like going through the motions and it's like what's the problem? What's the problem? It's that it just feels like there could be more. I don't know how to explain it. Like in terms of maybe how I maybe enjoy those things. Sounds like you have a problem. Sounds like sounds like kind of sounds like I can recommend I recommend a therapist, you know, or a deliverance minister. Deliverance. I think what from, and correct me if I'm wrong, I think maybe like what Kenneth's trying to say is like, you know, you're going through your routines. You're doing all the things you're supposed to do. Everything's going great on paper, but it's just like something's just off. It just feels like, like you said, like you're living life on autopilot and it's like you're not sad. You're not So, you'd rather, you know, be ducking and diving, bullets flying, you know, it's like um arm droppers knocking on your door. you don't know where the next meal is coming from. I think it's also like maybe like you're in this season and you're just like like you're just like where where am I going towards these are this this what you call third world problem first world first world problems we're talking about first world problems today apparently look guys I I
(3:20)First World Problems
get what you're saying right but but that is life and that is a good life right a life that's predictable a life that's consistent that's a good life right I know that in In the west, we have this preoccup and and I guess with a generation of folks, we have this preoccupation with excitement. Yeah. Right. We want everything to be exciting. And when things are not exciting, it's like it's a problem. You know, if I'm not const adrenaline is not pumping through my veins all the time, it's like there's something wrong, right? So, I'll go jump out of an aeroplane or I'll go, you know, dive off a cliff, right? You know, I mean that might that might be it. That's because you you see it's because you've had enough to eat and swear, you know, when you've had when you when you are full, right? When you are full, when you're no longer hustling for food, right? Uh uh then you then you have the privilege and the luxury of saying, "Man, life is so good." It's kind of meh, right? That's what it is, right? It's it's it's it's life is so good, right? I can actually do it on autopilot, right? I don't have to think before my bills are paid. I don't have to stress before there's food on the table, right? So, life is uneventful because it is cool. But what you guys are going to do is stir it up, right? You're going to go do stupidish, right? Just to stir it up, right? Yeah. Because that's that's what that's what that's what happens though, right? This this
(4:59)The Chase for Excitement
chase for excitement, right, is why people end marriages, right? This chase for excitement, why people quit jobs, right? The constant need to be stimulated. The midlife crisis, right? But the midlife crisis happening now at 19, right? You know what I'm saying? Everything's, oh my god, it's so like, guys, calm down. This is life. This is what people worked generations for, right? Struggled, fought wars for a life that is uneventful, you know. Yes. You know, you can do things that are are intellectually stimulating, you know. Read read a book. Read a book. Stop doom scrolling. Read a book from the beginning to the end, right? Read a book. Watch a movie that watch a documentary. What's Temptation Island? was Temptation Island. Yeah, that's it. What is Temptation Island? That's what some people are watching now. Or or you know, or what's that? What's that? What's that? What's that game where some people have balloons, right? And and they pop their balloons when Wait, pop the balloon. Pop the balloon. Yeah. Those things those things don't stimulate your brain. They entertain your eyes, but they don't get you thinking, right? Read dtoesi, right? You know, read literature, right? Read the Bible.
(6:22)Spiritual Muscles
You know if if if life is so good Mhm. right that it's on autopilot, right? Use the the time, right, to develop your spiritual muscles, right? Spend the time contemplating the universe. The heavens declare the glory of God. Spend the time in prayer. Why do we have to constantly be excited? Are we We're not five, I think. Okay. But no, I agree. Okay. You guys are five. No, I'm not five. I'm not five years old. Okay. Sorry. Sorry. You're six. We're very Oh, God. We're very old. Very well. I You understand what I'm saying? I'm a young girl. Rosie is a young girl. Rosie is not having she's not having she's not having any of this mis misaging. But you guys get the point I'm trying to make, right? Yeah. But PF, I do want to just a little push back on the like for example. So for me, right? So part of the pardon like part of the monotony for me is like yes I am I am exploring the my you know the spiritual like reading the bible prayer uh are you reading the classics fellowship and are you reading the classics are you reading dstoki have you read homer have you read any Plato any Socrates I I've been reading more more theological theology okay that's that's great that's great But I I guess the part I'm trying to to get to is like and I think it's I'm going to kind of tie it back to what you were saying. I have been focused a little too much on like just my own little world. Mh. And I remember today something I said to myself when I when I caught myself was I know I also have something like a purpose that I am to fulfill on earth that I believe is bigger than me. M and that excited me for a minute like it kind of stared up like so yeah there is more to you know to look forward to and to try and do than where I am right now. So do you think that's part of it? Do you think it's also us being maybe a little we say less ambitious in terms of the sort of impact we could have on like this world? So, so, so there's when you talk about ambition,
(8:43)Selfish Ambition
right, we tend to think in a very selfish from a very selfish paradigm. Mhm. What do I want for myself? Right. Right. What do I want for me? And many times when people are in that place where life is on autopilot is because they've attained a lot of the things that they want for themselves, right? They've got the house, they've got the car, they've got this, they've got that, they've got this, and they've got that. So they're no longer seeking. They're no longer searching, right? They're no longer looking to um um um find meaning, right? But the search for meaning exists outside of oneself. We search for meaning in God. So one of the things I said earlier was read your Bible, spend time in prayer. What an uneventful life does is that it gives you room, right, to focus on things other than yourself, right? When you are not worrying about food, it's time for you. It gives you space to contemplate, you know, what is God's will. When you're busy looking for food to eat, sometimes it's hard to think of what is God's will, right? Your body is shouting, I need to eat. I've not had two meals, right? Back to back. You know what I'm saying, right? So, when we are in that place where we're comfortable, it is to give us, it gives us room, right, to look beyond ourselves. Absolutely right. But one of the
(10:06)What True Service Looks Like
challenges that I have is this. When even the search for meaning is self-centered, right? It is driven not by a desire to connect with the divine but a desire for excitement, right? A desire for activity, right? Sometimes it ends in futility, right? It ends in in in vanity, right? And then people create purpose for themselves. As opposed to connecting with what God wants. That's where you get people saying, "Well, I don't want to do that." Right? So, we get folks come to church all the time and they say, "Well, they want to serve." And we say, "Well, this is where we need you." They're like, "Well, I don't want to do that." You don't want to serve. That's not service. Service implies need. You serve where you're needed. Right. That is what it that is what is at the heart of true service. Right. Right. If it is not about where you are needed, then really it's about you might as well go play soccer. Right. Is you you just want to satisfy your flesh to some degree. You're not trying to help, right? It's one thing to say, well, these are my skill set. Do you think my skill set is useful in this particular um um um area of service where I am needed? Right? I can have that conversation with you where like, oh no, I'm not really into children. I I don't really feel kids like that. I I'd rather do something more, you know, um um you know, something that increases my profile a little bit, you know. I don't want to watch the kids. Let me Can I climb on stage and and preach with you? You know, absolutely. You know but but you'll be shocked the amount of such things that we have to interact with. Right. Right. Folks even in the pursuit of purpose are not pursuing purpose because there's a divine and I'm trying to connect with the divine. It's more like okay you know what am I going to do with my life? God has a purpose for me. Okay that should be fun. Okay. Right. Yeah. And that's problematic. Right. Because God is not here to, you know, satisfy, you know, your latest whims. Okay, right now I'm interested in in doing God, you know, and then next year we'll do um um um um content creation, you know, it doesn't work like that. Is it fair though to say we should be able to find satisfaction and and I guess kind of
(12:43)Is Satisfaction Possible?
pivoting on the on the topic a little bit. Is it fair to look for I say satisfaction and joy or enjoyment in purpose? What is what is what is satisfaction and what is enjoyment? That's different for everyone, right? What but okay let let's let me hear. What's satisfaction for you Russell? Will satisfaction for me? Yeah. Like would I be satisfied in general? What does that mean that you're satisfied? Everything's the way I want it to be. Yeah. You're not going to find that in God. God God is not going to make everything just the way you want it. So, do you see the problem? Right. Do you see the problem that you go into purpose, right? And the end goal is everything just the way you want it, right? Yeah. Think about uh Steven who got stoned, right? That was not the way he that's not the way he wanted it. He don't just read that. I literally just read that story. Right. And and was he fulfilling purpose? Absolutely. Yeah. Purpose, right? When you're following or you're pursuing divine purpose, you're not pursuing that which satisfies. You're not pursuing that which fulfills. Your fulfillment comes from knowing that you're doing God's will, right? And that's hard sometimes because in doing God's will, you're experiencing discomfort. Yeah. You're experiencing in what appears to be instability, right? To your mind,
(14:14)The Cost of Purpose
it's instability. But your spirit knows that in the center of God's will, there's no instability. Remember what Paul said? Shipwrecked, often beaten, often hunger, often fasting, often that there's nothing stable about these orphans, right? That is sometimes what happens when you pursue purpose, right? You find yourself in places where there's no food. You find yourself in places where there's no entertainment, right? Which is a problem, right? Cuz you know, we do love our entertainment. Love our entertainment, right? You find yourself in places where there's no Wi-Fi, right? What are you going to do? Would you be satisfied? But what about Okay. So, let's say you ask my question. Would you be satisfied? No. Yeah. You wanted to be, right? Do you do you see the problem with your question? Yeah. Right. Inherent in our search, right? Is our own is us. Yeah. Right. And that is problematic. It's God. When you get to heaven, it's God that says, "Well done, good and faithful servant." Right? You don't get a chance to say, "Man, I've done well. I tried, man. I give yourself a nice pat on the back." No. Right. So, so this idea, right, that the pursuit of purpose will replace your boredom, right? as an alternative to your boredom, as an alternative to your restlessness, right? Is is is a fallacy because where purpose will take you, you don't want to go, right? And that's so what do you do? What do you do? I feel like well maybe what you could do maybe is like okay so and you were saying that if people are comfortable so let's say in this sense you know like okay you and God you talked you're like you have to go do this you have to go do that and you're doing it and as you're going you're having this discomfort you feel like alone as well maybe can you will it be okay to also do it with other people and find joinment like hey let's do this together let's Jesus, Lord, let me tell
(16:30)Lonely in the Crowd
you. Okay. Okay. There is sometimes nothing lonelier than doing God's will in the middle of a crowd. So you Well, explain, explain, explain. Because the fact that in the middle of a crowd doesn't mean everybody in the crowd is going where you're going. So there's going to be times that you're walking by yourself. Yes. But you're surrounded by people, but you're walking by yourself, right? You've got a crowd around you, but you're walking by yourself. You've got people who are supposed to be going the same direction with you, but you're walking by yourself, right? I'm not trying to be, you know, just a cranky old man, right? But inherent in God's will is a denying of yourself, right? What you are describing is somebody who uses God's will as a vehicle for self-satisfaction. you are going to run into a problem because sooner or later, right, with God's will, there's going to be a carry your cross and follow me. Right. Right. And carrying your cross is literally a denying of self, a denying of of ambition. Right. A denying of of uh uh uh pleasure, a denying of comfort, a denying even of physical safety, of emotional security, right? You are going to have to find all of those things in God. Right? And God does not give those things the same way a person may give those things. Right? Joy, right, is not an elation that comes from a sense of elation that comes from your circumstances. It's a sense of elation that comes from knowing God and knowing that you and God are good and knowing that you're doing the will of God. Right. Sometimes, yeah, everything around you is a mess. Yeah. And you have that joy, right? You feel the emotional difficulty of the mess, but in that mess there's there's a there's a flicker, right, of joy. Like like there's a candle in the middle of the darkness, right? And that candle is lit from your knowledge of God and your interaction with God. And you know when God said to Abraham, I will be your exceedingly great reward, right? That's heavy. Right? Because sometimes that comes with all the wealth that Abraham had. Right. Right. And that's great if it came with that. But sometimes it came it comes with the stones that Steven felt. Right. So I say this to say when you are in that place right that me place where nothing is happening you know where you're not happy you know but you're not sad you know it's just a limbo kind of place you feel like you're in limbo yeah yes you know nothing is happening it's just like you're stuck in this vacuum right that is the time right to thank God right that you know what I'm living a life where I am not anxious because I don't know where the next bill how the next bill is going to be paid. I don't know if some marauding armies are going to come knock down my door and kill me and rape my wife and kill my children. You know, I don't have all of those things, right? That is the time for you to spend more time in the word, right? That is the time for you to spend more time in prayer. Yeah. I don't want you to I don't want us to pursue things right because we think they will provide a particular kind of satisfaction. Because when we don't get that kind of satisfaction, we stop the pursuit. Yeah. Right. If you if you if you're eating you're drinking water because you think the water is going to feel some kind of way down your throat. If it doesn't feel that way down your throat, you're going to put the bottle down. Right. Irrespective of how it benefits you. Yep. Yeah. Irrespective of what it does for your body, right? And and and I feel like we live in a generation, right, that is very quick, right, to dismiss things because it is not producing the results that they expect it to produce. And many times those results are very um um superficial. Yeah. Right. So, we're not long-term folks.
(20:49)We Are Not Long-Term People
We're short-term folks. We want we want things now. I want to know God's will yesterday. you know, I want to be fulfilled right now, right? I don't understand how you guys build businesses, right? Because you want the money today and some businesses take decades before they become this conglomerates, right? And you look at the outliers, you know, the guys who, you know, develop an app and the app blows up, blows up and uh Google comes and buys it for a billion gazillion dollars. Those are outliers. The vast majority of people go through a process right and many times in that process right there is a lull of activity nothing is happening right but when nothing is happening sometimes it's when you are growing is when you are developing strength right when you look at a tree that is growing many times you don't see any activity that's true but you come back and the tree is grown an inch there's a lot of stuff going on underneath the surface right but if you are constantly desireing iring to see activity, to feel something, right? You'll approach the tree. Yep. Right. And then you start chasing something and and you all are always chasing stuff. So is it like that? What's that thing? Um immediate satisfaction. Yes. Immediate gratification.
(22:13)Stop Uprooting The Tree
Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. There's a standing still when nothing is happening and there's just silence, right? purpose is good, right? I think that many times the way that we talk about purpose, right, is is problematic, right? God said to Abraham, "Go to your uh leave your father's house and your mother's house and I will take you to a land that I will show you that I will show you." He didn't know where he was going. So, he couldn't say, "Oh, well, you know what? When I get to the land, you know, I'm going to go to dinner. You know, he he had no idea. All he knew was that he was following God." Mhm. Right. Over and over, right, I feel like we have these expectations of God that get disappointed. Yeah. Because we don't read the Bible and see that the people who followed God, right, many times did not have a sense of what the exact outcome will be in human terms, but knew that in God's hands they were good. Right? We start off from if I follow God, I will get a house. I'll get a wife. I'll get children. I'll get car cars. I'll have this fantastic job and make eight figures in dollars. Right. That is the outcome we all think it is going to. And sometimes you're never in this life going to see that. Yeah. Doesn't mean there's anything wrong with your life. Doesn't mean you're not in the center of God's will. It's like I always talk about the guys with the
(23:45)The Parable of Talents
talents, right? It was 52 and um 52 and one. Mhm. Yeah. Right. The guy with two was never going to see 10. He was never going to see it. There was nothing wrong with him. M. No matter how hard he worked to multiply his talents, he was going to only get four marks. Four. And if he multiplied the four, he will get eight. Right? Let's use our imagination. But the master came back and when he saw four talents, he was like, "Well done, good and faithful servant." Right? The same master saw 10 talents on another guy. Well done, good and faithful servant. Same words, no deviation, no extra for the guy with 10. Yeah. Right. But we act as if the guy with 10 has 10 heads, right? And and and therefore he's better than the guy with four. That's why God says a man's life does not consist is not measured by the abundance of his material possessions. Right? Yeah. We can't measure our life by excitement. We can't. The way you feel about your life is the product of what you think about your life. If you think there's something wrong with your life, you're going to feel bad about it. If you feel that if you think that there's something wrong with a lack of noise in your life, right, you're going to have a problem with it. My wife accused
(25:15)Rest is Not Laziness
me the other day of not being able to sit down, right? I'm always doing something. Even on my days off when I should be resting, I will find something to do, right? And I realized that there's a reason why. And it is trauma, right? is is I've been told. Yeah. Right. So, I'm trying to prove a point to people who I don't even know if they're still alive that I'm not lazy. Right. So, I'm constantly moving because if I don't move, there's a voice in my head telling me, "You're so lazy. You're so lazy." Right? So, I'm constantly moving. Yeah. Right. That's not the way it's supposed to be. There should be periods of stillness where there's nothing. He leaded me beside the still waters. Your still waters, huh? Just calm. Why is calm so hard for you guys? Rest just feels rest feels uncomfortable sometimes. It's because we have been we have been told if you're resting, you're lazy. Yeah. If you're resting, you're lazy. If there's silence, there's something wrong. Nothing's moving in your life. Are you even doing anything? Yeah. Exactly. But the truth is this, right? There's going to be seasons where you wake up in the morning for months. Same thing. You wake up in the morning, you eat breakfast, you go to work, you come back, you get ready for bed, and you rinse, repeat over and over again. That's a good life. That's a good life. That's a life to be grateful for. Imagine if you woke up, went to work, right? By the time you got back from work, you got fired. That's exciting, right? Now you've got something to do, right? Now you've got some excitement. Y Let me go look. Stress. Excitement. Stress. Oh, really? You were complaining a minute ago, right? Yeah. So, so think about that. Right. No, I wanted to go to the next chapter of my life. Next chapter of your life. Yes. What is the next chapter of your life supposed to look like? Okay. I'm a single, right? I want a partner. Okay. So, you feel like until you get there, then what? Until you have a partner. Yes. Then what's what's wrong with your life? Nothing. Exactly. So why aren't you happy? Why aren't you grateful? Cuz I want to I want to I want to suspend it with somebody. Let me tell you what happens. Right. That partner comes. Yeah. And then you start another chapter of monotony with that partner. Yep. Right. You're hanging out. You wake up. Same person. Right. You go to bed. Same person. And they are the same. They say the same things that they've always said. They behave the same way they always behave. Nothing new. No new patterns, right? They wake up and they drink their coffee a particular way every morning. And right now that sounds, oh my god, so romantic. I promise you it gets old. Everything in this life, right, that you have to repeat. Yeah. Has a tendency to be still. Yeah. There's a stillness to life when life is good. And if you don't recognize that that stillness is good, you will chase it away and you might open a door to chaos under the guise of excitement, right? And a stability. So you're single. There's nothing wrong with being single. Oh, I know that for sure. For sure. My kids. My kids. Oh, my wonderful children. My kids for many years I paid all their bills. Mhm. Every single bill. Right. There was no bill they had that I did not pay. They didn't have to worry or think about anything. It's fantastic. Right. And then they kept, "Oh, I can't wait to get my own place. I can't wait to do this. I can't wait to do that. I can't wait to do this." And then guess what? The other one was like, "Man, I feel like I'm house poor. I'm like, really? You feel like your house broke? Dang, adulting, man. No, not A+. There's so many times I was like, I just wish I could be a kid again. There you go. I promise you when you get married, you're going to say that. I wish I could be single again. Yes. Do you know why? Do you know what it is that there is no decision you make in your life once you get married that's just about what you want? Yep. If you make a decision that's just about what you want, right, there's going to be problems. It's potentially problematic. And even if you're that kind of person, your conscience will bug you. Right now, you can decide, you know what? I'm not going to cook tonight. You know, I'm just going to go home and just eat, you know, some cereal. Right. Once you get married, are you okay? You are going to eat what? You eat cereal. I'm not eating cereal. Okay, that's fine. Go get your food. That's a great that's a great response. But guess what? There will be a conversation about conversation because I want to go. There will be conversations that you don't have to have now. If you have $50,000 in your account right now, you can decide, you know, I want to go to Spain. I want to go to um um um Portugal. Then I want to go to Santorini. And then from there I go to Bali. I'm from Bali. Stop by in Osaka. From Osaka. Let's do a little Vietnam. 50,000. Don't go. You can decide that and nobody will say anything. Will say anything. And if they say anything, it's your money. Exactly. When you get married, you want to go where? That's why I want somebody that wants to travel with me and we'll be like, bet. Let's go. Okay. Okay. Okay. And and then that person might be one of those people like, you know, I am not going to Osaka. There's nothing you do. This is where I want to go. I want to go from Jabu Jesha to I want to go and visit Aso Rock and then I want to go and see Lumor Rock and then I want to go and see the Kosi warm Spain and then let's go to Kinshasa and then compromise comes in. Can you see how complicated your life has become? Can you see how complicated your life has become? Well, yeah, I can see it because there's always going to be something that we will have to like The point I'm trying to make is that Yeah. stillness. Yeah. Is not wrong. Mhm. Right. Enjoy your seasons of stillness. Enjoy your seasons of boredom. Oh, that's that's the word right there. Enjoy your seasons of boredom. Right. Use it to grow. M use it to to build your spiritual muscles, your intellectual muscles, right? Don't spend it doom scrolling social media. That just makes your boredom even more acute because everybody looks like they're doing exciting stuff. Yeah, that's very true. Everybody looks like they're having some kind of fun. But what you don't realize, you're looking at curated events. Yeah. Right. I'm going to put pictures of my vacation. That's not my life. But if you look at 10 pictures of 10 people on vacation, you start to think every day is a vacation, right? Because this person was on vacation on Sunday, this person was on vacation on Monday, this other person was on Tuesday. You start to think Sunday to Friday is vacation time. Meanwhile, that person who was on vacation on Sunday is going to work his behind off two shifts to pay for that vacation. And maybe after that one picture that they took, life was hella, right? Yeah. Oh, I'm going to go white water rafting. Keep going. Enjoy yourself. I'm going to enjoy my seasons of stillness, right? That is my new and it's ironic because this conversation I'm having with you right when my wife today right the only thing I have to do today is the podcast. Mhm. I did nothing. And it was hard. Yeah. I was about to say that I did nothing. Like literally nothing. But guess what? I feel good. Yeah. So guys, you're not depressed. You're okay. It's just life. and be grateful for boredom. Yeah. Then I can arrange some excitement for you if you want. No, I'm I'm good. What you have in mind? What do I have in mind? I can push you out of a plane. Um that would be exciting. Fighting for your life. No, I'm good. I'm good. I said you want to skydive. No. F didn't say skydiving. He said he was just going to push you. I don't know. That's true. That's But that's what skydiving is and they push you out of push. Right. They push you out of a parachute. Right. What? What a parachute. That's so boring. We got That's so boring. That's a guaranteed outcome. No, we want some uncertainty here. We're going to shake things up. On that note, we are going to stick with our season of boredom. You know, I'm going to uh I'm going to enjoy it. And and and I think that was that was the word, PF. You said enjoy. Enjoy the boredom, man. Because I promise you, you're going to look for seasons when nothing where you can just be still and you won't get it. M and I really like what you're saying cuz like it is true to just enjoy that season of boredom because I think there's something where you said that how we just talked about it last Sunday how Moses said God show me your ways and it's like if you're bored are you like really use this time to also seek God more and be understanding like God what are you trying to show me during this season that I'm just not doing anything like this is the best time to develop your relationship literally so I imagine trying to trying to trying to trying develop your relationship with

God when you have not eaten. Yeah. Like you're just going to be like, "God, me." Like just all you'll be doing is praying for food. Yeah. You just pray for food all day. But now you can pray for like, "God, show me something like show me about you." Like, "Oh, why did you do this?" Or like, like you said, ponder about the univer. There's no pondering when you're hungry, man. There's not. And looking for food can be very very exciting. Very very exciting. I I saw a skit on social media. Some guy had gotten shot. He went to rob somebody's house and then they shot him and and they were like why did you try to rob us? And he's like man my my my children I needed food. I was like so you woke up in the morning and said I'm going to feed my kids and I'm going to go rob somebody's house. That's that's your plan. Right. And and I realized that you know people make decisions. H right. It's a blessing to be in a place where you don't have to make any crazy decisions where everything is on autopilot. Autopilot is not a death word though. Yeah, it's great to have your life on autopilot for a season. It only ever lasts for a season and then the storms come. And if you have not built up the strength spiritually in the seasons of boredom, when the storm comes, ah, God help you. God help you. Yeah. Cuz it's not when the storm comes that you want to start learning how to pray. Yeah. No, that's actually very true though. M you learn to pray when there's nothing major to pray about. When there's no desperation involved, you learn to you learn skills when you don't need the skills. On the day that you need the skill, it's too late. So you prepare the horse for battle. Yep. Not on the day of battle. Say you want to start preparing the horse and that one you they've killed you finish. Yes. Yes. Well, on that note, I think we had a lot of valuable things that were said in this podcast. So, enjoy y'all's boredom. It's just a season. Develop your relationship with God. Yes. And thanks for tuning in. Subscribe, like, and comment about what else you're also going through. Have you ever felt like this before, too? If so, tell us how you got there. And yeah, see you on the next one. Talk to you later. Bye. Go and be bored. All right. Don't go for it. Unfiltered.
