(0:00)Season Finale: Why Christianity feels so heavy

unfilter alrighty welcome back everyone Welcome to our last episode of this season we made it um shout out to our entire team for hanging with us and shout out to y'all for listening um we hope you've been enjoying it so far how are you guys feeling today PF I'm good I feel great I feel yeah I feel good ready to this how many episodes have we done 12 this is 12 yes number 12 like the disciples the number ofes W I like that I like was actually we walked to production actually strategic this was intentional which chose 12 because it I'm lying it was not I'm lying so today we're going to be asking PF some questions that um may or may not have been sent in um before I get started though um I was going to ask you guys both actually what's one thing um that you've Maybe not maybe learned maybe just has come up again recently for you in the duration of recording this season let me let me go first I want I'm going to plug the last episode so you guys should make sure you check it out right if your Christianity is not

(1:20)If your faith isn't 'light', something is wrong

light right right yeah if he not light I'm not going to say you're doing something wrong but I don't think you're doing something right I love that I like that I like that I like that it was not scripted unscripted unfiltered is on on the road yeah H me P um well I I guess for me um the feedback that we have gotten from different people you know even from people who um have said they're not they would say to them they would Define themselves have not been religious you know tells me that there's still a lot of work to be done right there's a lot of um um there a lot of things being said that people are hearing and they're not really hearing the truth and it's affecting the way they perceive God the church Christianity so I feel more um gingered gingered I was going to say that yeah the feedback has gingered me cuz I'm like you never heard that before or you know apparently so I guess we're doing something right I I think so before you before you asked the question so like what specific was it the feedback can you review details of of the specifics of this feedback is it was it good or we oh no no it was good okay oh it was good

(2:48)Why people hate the church (Hard Truths)

it was good it was um somebody said it was um that they had never really thought about it like that you know I think it was one of the episodes was when we were talking about pastors and money you know um she was saying to me that you know they had they they thought they they had they only have heard the negative right they've never really seen the other side of it you know I remember I talked about you know the guy whose ticket was like a 6 in trying to go from never thought about it like that so it was it was you know it was quite interesting some some of my friends friend said younger friend said he he sent it to one of his friends who uh whose Pastor was a bit ify over yeah just a lot of buried feedback but I I I I um it motivates me because I realizeed that there's a a lot of misconceptions about everything you know and I wonder where people are getting their their their their their information from it's not from the Bible it's not we think it is it really isn't some Amazon there you go free shipping yeah free shipping all right so we're just going to get into it okay um and we'll just try to keep you on on Time P so that we can get through I'm always on time yeah always always yeah all right

(4:16)What it actually means to be 'born again'

so first one says what does it mean to be born again okay so so that expression born again right is Jesus said except a man be born again he will not see the kingdom of God what he was trying to say or what he it means basically you are reborn you're you're born again it's a long it's long but I'm going to try and say this really quick when we're born into the world we're born as descendants of Adam were born with sin to be born again means that you are literally being rebirthed without sin right and to be rebirth without sin which happens when you accept Jesus Christ as Lord when you accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary you are washed you are cleansed and it's literally like you being born again you a totally new person so that's what it means right it is that you have accepted the sacrifice of Calvary you've accepted that your sins were paid for on the cross of Calvary and you are are a new creation as a consequence of what Jesus did that's what he means again it's not a hairstyle that one oh yeah it's not a hairstyle it's not the way you dress it's about where you stand so I can't enter and reenter if you know what I mean know you can but you're not supposed to oh okay can next question I'm like can we move on um okay so the next one is um what is

(6:03)The religious mindset vs. the truth

something that makes you sad um in the church today like cuz this is Christ the church and our world so um the number of people who have bought into religion and as a consequence find it hard to hear the truth that really makes me sad you know the I I I I um I preached religion for most of my Christianity as a pastor I believe that I a lot of the things that I said prior to maybe 2019 looking back on it now I realized that I was just perpetuating you know the religious mindset and so it makes me sad that a I spent all that time doing that but I I see the consequences of it in the sense that it is now hard for people to hear the truth because the truth is so radical relative to what we have been taught relative to what I even taught right that it's there's a there's a there's a there's a stronghold in people's minds to move away from that religious mentality yeah and accept a kingdom mentality you know and that I guess gives us gives me some kind of empathy towards Pharisees right these guys had heard that the way to God all their lives was the laws of Moses they had heard about how God punished Israel they were experiencing God's punishment they felt and then this guy a carpenter's son comes and starts to tell them the exact opposite of that you know it's it's hard it's hard but the word of God is powerful is sharer than any twoed sword you know I believe sincerely that if anybody in pursuing religion gets to a place of sincere frustration they will meet Jesus me sincere frustration yeah I'll keep that sincere frustration yeah I like that it's a good phrase Godly sorrow Godly sorrow yeah wow okay next question um so next question is what is the purpose of

(8:26)Is marriage really for everybody?

marriage okay the purpose of marriage is to fulfill purpose oh I'm okay can you break that down just just just a tad bit more let's go back Genesis God made everybody made everything on the sixth day he made man and he looked at man and said it's is not good for man to be alone right so he created woman named her Eve Eve comes from a word that means the hand of God right which is kind of like the help of God why did God feel the need to help Adam because he had given Adam an assignment that Adam could not fulfill on his own that is the purpose of marriage to fulfill a god-given assignment right so he deposited in Eve certain qualities and certain traits and certain abilities that he did not give to Adam because if he had given Adam everything he would not have had to bring Eve so it was companionship absolutely but also look at the Mandate he said to Adam be fruitful he didn't say this to Eve he said to Adam be fruitful multiply replenish and have dominion and there was no way he was going to do that by himself so that's the purpose of marriage to help us fulfill God's given purpose in addition to companionship and part of that of course multiplication is um what's the word for multiplication multiplication multiplication no but actually I mean I don't want to I'm going to plug our previous I know we did the episode of marriage um so you guys check it out for sure but yeah you know we that can I can I okay so that um I think I shared in the past that that scripture for me even though I know you've broken it down it just seems to it feels like it contradicts when Christ said marriage is not for everybody right right okay going say Christ didn't say that Paul said it as well but if that's what Paul said he didn't say marriage is not for or is not for him yeah he said he said if you don't want to marry okay yes that's the fact it might be better not to marry cuz if you marry you're going to have all this stuff you're dealing with yes mhm Paul said that but Christ o said that U and please fact check me for yeah Bible fact check he said that some people were um some people are okay with the message of getting married others don't get married for for sake of the Kingdom some are Unix for that sake whoever is okay with that message I don't you know be okay with it right so I think it's go Gospel of Matthew so I feel like when I hear um it's no good for man to be alone when I hear that I I know that's not what you're saying but the automatic implication is that if I don't marry I not obeying God's will but then I go back to the crisis message and it's a little if you don't marry if you don't marry right I don't feel like you are disobeying God oh okay right when you think about the fact that marriage is equipment right marriage is a tool that God gives you to fulfill purpose if God

(11:55)Marriage as a tool, not a checklist

has given you a different assignment do you need that to the assignment that God gave Paul right did not involve multiplication God was not planning a little Paul or Paul J that was not Paul's I'm saying sorry so sorry so AAP Paul did not need Mrs Paul he was called to travel and eventually die he didn't need a he didn't need a wife right so what is your calling what is God's vision for your life what is your vision for your life that God has given you you I'm saying yeah I got you yeah we we we focus mostly on the companionship aspect and the procreation aspect of marriage right um but sometimes you know our lives are more than those things when you go to heaven there's no marriage in heaven which for some that's a little disappointing you know well it is we find out as what that they no no no as how disappointing it would be to them like when they you know like those people that say when I get over and I'll ask God you won't really you behold God and asking questions you just be too I mean just the glory the a yeah fair enough sorry SE no that's that was a good seg segue um so yeah so back to the question so the next one is what is fear

(13:26)Does having fear mean you lack love?

and how can perfect love cast it out and the follow follow-up question is so if I have fear does that mean in the moment I don't have love okay that's a total misinterpretation of scripture the perfect love that is talking about is God's perfect love for us casting out all fear of God right because at the root of our existence is the fear that when we die right not the root but a major aspect of our existence that when we die where will we go would happen right and that fear of what next can be overwhelming right it can create a sense of futility and hopelessness and despair but when you have been reconciled with God right let me tell you what it does it takes away the fear that fear but it also takes the way away fear generally right right because what what when you understand that God is actively working in all situations to make sure things work for your good right what outcome really are you afraid of when you know that that outcome Whatever It Is God is going to turn it around yeah or God is going to use it to for your good he says but then there the fear that if you see a lion or a bear charging towards you right that's there's a there's a natural instinct to be afraid right your body will release hormones adrenaline right get your heart racing make you run faster right that creates some kind of fear and I don't know that um if you feel that it means you don't have love I think if you feel that it means that you have eyes and you can see the bear charging at you you know what I'm saying so that interpretation that if I'm still afraid it means I don't have love love in that sense is Jesus in that in that context I actually can I again sorry um I actually um so I the thing with that question that resonates with me is that um if I feel like what what is my Mo what is when I'm afraid obviously to the point you made if it's a physiological fear that comes from uh you know someone has a gun you know trying to rob my house and what I get that or or if an animal was trying to charge at me or yeah but if it's emotional and psychological and I'm what does that for me I ask myself what does that mean like what am I TR what am I trying to control out right so I feel like I

(16:15)Why we are afraid of the outcomes

can see if that's what the person is referring to I can see how in that moment if there is control and then and the fear stends from the control I can't have love inside of me I don't that makes sense is too I I think I think maybe I'm a bit generous right in the way I look at some of these things I think that people who are afraid of outcomes are afraid because they have been taught that they control the outcome so they have to control the outcome and when they don't have control then they become afraid but when you understand how much God loves you right when you understand how much God loves you this is how I explained it to my kids I said if he could send his son to die for you right he loved you enough now you guys know how much I love you if I can give you up for somebody right what would I do for that person so if I don't do it it must mean that it is better for that person that I don't do it because if it is good for the person that I do it I will do it I've shown my commitment to you right by giving you the best that I have right so why are you afraid of your outcomes when I have demonstrated to you right that I got you in the in the most impossible Way by giving my child for you right but then we have been taught right that it's not enough that he gave his

(17:50)The lie of 'earning' God's love

child for us we have to we have to do a b CDE E F G H otherwise God is is not going to do a b c d f GH but the Bible says for example for example take no thought to what you shall eat right or what you should wear because your heavenly father knows that you have need of these things right he says the the Gentiles they they pray for these things right honestly perfect love cast out of here if you understand how much God loves you if you're afraid of something right it is muscle memory and when you catch it it dissipates I'm talking from personal experience right the things that I have been afraid of for for years outcomes that I have had the worst anxiety about now when I think about those things God loves me man if he goes this way God loves me if he goes that way God loves me I'm good any which way I am good it doesn't mean that it will not be painful sometimes right right but you know you go to doctor and they're going to un like some people that I know they want to give you an injection you know wait what can you name the people some our production you know folks you you go to doctor you know you have to literally strap them down to just take a shot they can't draw blood you know pass out if they pass out will be good yeah oh my God drama like you have to call like six and they will still shake them off like Samson shake off the uh the Philistines oh my God no that makes sense s sorry I'm just like processing okay um like actually sitting with knowing that God gave you his son which is the best of him your worst and then why would he then withhold anything that is good for you yes that's what the Bible says he who freely gave you his son how much more would he not also give you anything I feel like it goes back to like the previous episode cuz this is making sense I feel like I don't know it feels like we're watching different God because this like to the point you made like do we not do we say it that not believe do we just say the words and not believe because what we what we say is contradictory we say God loves you but something El but you have to do this do this do this do this right honestly speaking right even when my children are irresponsible even when they do stupid is the love that I have for them still looks for how good will come out of it even when I punish them it is never to destroy them right and I'm a human being right and my love is not even close to the love of God right imagine if you can give your son your son your first born your only son h I ain't got that I know I know I'm proud I got you so so while the guy was faffing around and talking trash about you you gave him your son right but now that he's supposed to be following you but making mistakes that's why you now say in fact I'm not giving you anything until you fast for 200 days now what you're saying PF is so true it's wow like how does that work now but maybe yeah that's crazy this is how do you give somebody your son right and then you say to that person L do you know what what I am freely giving that guy who who who does not even recognize your son right I'm going to give him freely right he doesn't recognize your son I'm going to give him freely you you that you recognize the son you have to work for it that's crazy how does that make sense the unbeliever the Bible says he causes the rain to fall and the sun to shine on them but then we come to church they tell us we have to fast and pray for the rain of the sun now I'm seeing what PF was saying about how maybe it's the condition maybe it's the it's read it for so longing anything new is like it'sing yeah it is conditioning it is it is a problem you don't understand if we don't the love of God for us is the basis of everything the when I I when I first got saved before I joined the denomination you know that time my Christianity was still pure it was just me God and the Bible men had not interfered okay now now he you know they it got it got you know it got got corrupted along the way all I knew was love that's all I knew when I started preaching first sermon I preached was Philadelphia you know the churches that um received the letter all of them were chastised the only one that was not chastised was the church in Philadelphia and Philadelphia is is brotherly love right all the churches receive some kind of okay you've been good in this you've been good in this but this one you messed up here the church in Philadelphia was the only one that didn't get any you know criticism and so I was saying to folks that clearly God right elevates love beyond what we think a few of my friends who were pastors were making fun of me that love what thing we won't take love to let's talk about the anointing let's talk about breaking yolks let's talk about how to you know prosper and cast demons all of those things emanate from the love of God they emanate from the love of God right peace comes from knowing how much God loves you I have never had more peace than I have in my life in the last one year two years and it's simply because I've come to realize that God loves me man any which way we move H he loves me now that's a t-shirt God loves me man any way we move move can we just are we done can we just R up serly no I like that I like that I'm going steal that too sorry all right so and I mean there's a question here that actually asked about peace but I feel like you kind of just you kind of touched on that um okay the next one says what is the most dangerous human emotion honestly I think they're all dangerous at different times you know um anger can be righteous but it can destroy you um sadness can lead you to reevaluate but it can also destroy you I I think it's really hard to to say that generally generically because every emotion is almost like a two-edged sword right it can bless you but it can also destroy you so I'd hate to say oh the most dangerous is you know A or B is a or b fear if a bear is charging at you fear is wisdom you see two oras swimming towards you fear is the wisdom of God telling you guy move those things are about to chop you like s you know um so I I I really don't want to say I can't say I'm curious to know if that sounds like a personal question sh do you do you want do you have a is there emotion you think your your life that the most dangerous what what I'm joking I don't I don't have one I'm just telling today yes I sat here and I was like this one emotion I mean I I have one oh you do shame sh I think shame I think it's very for me at least personally speaking I think it it blinds me how is shame more dangerous than anger for me yeah I feel like I feel like Anga is I don't know I think I guess I me speak on shame because yeah you're right I don't know I guess it depends on the context right but for me shame I just personally speaking shame just kind of it blocks me from seeing yeah that I'm broken and I need Christ so I start to justify yeah my Brokenness okay right so I think shame does that for me well anger anger I mean you can some getting angry I honestly don't I mean I don't know why I would why you because you never been provoked you haven't been provoked to that level uh go Cas they provoke me well you know it's it's it's every individual is right right right I think I think that's the point of like that response is that for each person the thing that could POS possibly maybe cause the most like damage is different um H too ah is not emotions they been liy to me is our hunger is a physiological so you are feeling hungry I feel hungry what does that mean then is it so confusing I feel hungry so is not emotion maybe it can lead to anger I don't know andry hungry is that is that oh hunger is not an emotion wow so can you feel hungry it's something you feel like pain is pain an emotion pain is not an emotion physical pain is it an emotion is somebody if some I need to fire all my teachers how did you get to where you are he because he he he said what feel with emotions feelings and emotions feeling is perceiving right I perceive you know I feel you I perceive you I sense what you're saying I get it it's not necessarily you can tell I went to school in this and I not go I sorry the next question is a little bit more personal it says do you have any Ambitions ah I like that question ambition is very problematic so you do or you don't oh no he has to First tell us why I have none we have no ambition nothing to let me rephrase that my only ambition is to do the will of God to do the will of God because I know that if I do the will of God when my time comes I will hear well done good and faithful servant right all the things that um I there are things that I would like to see you know um but right now my my biggest concern I I'm living of course you know you have to deal with the realities of life on a day-to-day basis you know you've got bills to pay you know um there are challenges here and there but I don't live for that anymore right I don't live for the for a time when I don't have to worry about my bills right I don't leave for a time when my church has grown to certain size I don't leave for a time you know when we have parishes all or campuses or hubs or whatever it is they call them all over the world no I live to do the will of God right and that's the problem with some of the words we use right because when you talk about ambition and vision right if we're not careful we will push people to generate things right and then start striving towards it you get to a certain age you realize that there's nothing you build on this planet that you're going to take with you nothing not a single thing you're going to take with you no matter how much money you make it doesn't matter how much the money is the day they put you in that box yeah before they put you in the box if you are in Nigeria where you're in the coola for like two months before they put you in the Box the day you die everything you have worked for is is literally gone right the Bible says that every man's work will be tested as by fire right and if what you have built right is not of God the Bible says you have built in vain oh wow I'm so sorry this please can we not can we not can we not cut this please can we keep this can we please don't edit this out please I beg you let's keep this sorry it's okay it's okay it's okay it's my take a walk alarm when not we're not going to judge you but you guys what I'm saying yeah I got you I got yeah all everybody's work will be tested by I got and if you build not on God's instructions your building is in vain it's as simple as that but you don't realize that when you're young it's when when young when you get to our our stage in life yeah when you get to our stage of life then you kind of see things but this kid I'm not and I'm not even still get it man the the the futility of our endeavors of these things that we're striving for is is um is scary seriously it's scary you work so hard to buy a house you spend a large portion of your life acquiring saving the money for that house when you die maybe that house if it's still standing 50 years after you have died it must be in a very nice area is p giving Pro I was lit before you I was like because at the end of the days they're going to build a wmart on top of it they put the wmart on top of it your car right the BM the Porsche the Bentley end up in a scrapyard P can you please do me a favor and look at your camera and just say that again end up in a scrapyard okay your grandchildren your great grandchildren won remember your name actually fact yeah why do we you remember your great grandfather's name honestly my father trust do you remember your I don't don't you don't remember his name you don't know anything he did I don't remember my grand I don't my grandfather's name there you go so what are we striving for other than to do the will of God which is where the majority of Our Lives is going to be right which is where it matters because all all of these things that we're chasing right none of it money even if you have a trillion dollars when you die eh your children yeah will spend it they will pass it on to the children who will spend it and then by the third generation by the grand kids great grand kids they don't even remember you they don't remember you they don't even remember where the money came from it's crazy in fact your story they would have added and subtracted so that what they what they think about who you are is very different from who you really are actually so what's the point what's the point a 100 years nobody will remember you because how many people does history remember if we count it yeah it's not a lot it's not a lot of people not a lot of people 100 years nobody remember you but you'll be in eternity with God right and your work that your 80 years 90 years 100 years that you spent on this earth right literally nobody's going to say oh oh you know that house you built move to this side this is the side of people with houses absolutely not what are we doing yeah that's a great question okay well what if I'm like oh I can fa about because it's not going to matter then F about the key is not to F about the key is to do God's will it's to find God's Will and to do God's will right is to ask God why am I here and pursue that pursue that the Bible says that if you build if a laborer builds a house without God he's building in V let the houses that you build be the houses that God has told you to build those are the houses that will endure right and if the house that you are building is only for a season that house God wants you to build it for just that house in God's plan it will last for 30 years when the house comes down you don't care cuz you did your job right you built the house God used it for the 30 years he wanted to use it when you get over they give you a high five can I Chim it real quick to to seef this point like um as someone that is a seasoning veteran Fring about there is enjoyment to but there is no satisfaction the amount of peace I found in Christ you cannot compare it to a lifetime of fuing about you want to talk about faffing around I spent my father is not listening to this episode I spent six years faffing around like I fued I fued the F out of and at the end of the day all of that stuff yeah it doesn't it's nothing it doesn't it doesn't do anything for you you know you enjoy it yeah but there's no satisfaction but you know some of the things that kept me up at night right some things that oh God you have to do this for me you have to do this for you have to do this for me nowaday I'm like I don't even remember them I don't even remember them I remember my the first house my wife and I bought oh my God that thing was the stress of saving the money this that that this that that where is the house now ask my children about that house they have Distant Memories of it so at the end of the day the only thing that will remain is that which came from God so we pursue that we pursue that we we love people we we build relationships and love people and influence them towards the kingdom that remains that remains i j you guys no he did though yeah that was a lot that was a lot he pulled the Ecclesiastes card on us problem with Ecclesiastes is that the guy is hopeless there was there's no hope in the things he was saying right he was talking like everything ends here but it doesn't end here if it ends here man the word I want to say I can't say it I say it for you which one what is it which I think that would be a very interesting discussion um move on before people start saying in appropriate things um but I mean this question I feel like we just kind of addressed it because it says how does one achieve happiness in this world with all the wahala that's going on you can't achieve happiness in this world it's not possible because happiness is you thought wrong I really thought wrong I mean not like happiness but I you can let me tell what you can have you can have joy M and you can have peace that's passes all understanding the joy joy in feels like happiness but it's from a different Source right Joy comes from the presence of the holy spirit in you it's a fruit of the spirit Joy comes from knowing right that you're good right in the same way with peace peace comes from knowing that God has got your back God has got you he's got you on every level right but happiness that comes from your circumstances think about it now in this world you will have tribulation to be happy in Tribulation is a problem is hard when they cut your electricity because you didn't pay the bill are you happy no no no when you when you when you're driving and when you're driving and there's traffic are you happy I mean it depends am I trying to not get there on time it depends if you're trying to get somewhere on time and there's traffic are you happy it also depends too really you guys are L depends if you wanted to get on time because like I feel like sometimes sound like the kind of person that has a lot of road rage episodes no really I don't know are you serious I'm telling you you wow they have other kinds of Rage episodes but it's not the road right now not traffing do that answer that question yeah it do okay next question is what inspired you this week this week something that inspired you this why does why do I have to be inspired every week hey why is it this week too though so question what inspired me this week honestly the same thing that inspires me every week sound brain you know it just sounds like you know how we always want to be touchy feely you know just appear like we're very yeah put together put together yeah what inspired you today I was inspired by my matcha you know let me okay let me reward the question avoc AOC how have you seen Christ this week in your life just one give us one how have I seen Christ in my life this week yes like one and not that you woke up and because why that's how I you see these are these are avocado toast questions like avocado toast something that you can put you can you can you can tweet it like lemon Z for strawberry yes exactly can you give us can you give us one I woke up this morning I open my eyes I was like dang I'm awake thank you Jesus you know who we are for okay question that okay okay this question says with all the crazy stuff going on in the world today how can I as a Christian help the world okay I love that question I love that question so this is not like avocado not avocado this person who asked it might like avocado too I have an answer that avoc I have the world cannot be helped listen the world is like a sinking ship it is going to sink there's nothing you do that's going to stop the world from sinking however what you can do is help people get off the boat you help the World by helping people get off the boat and what that means is that preaching the gospel that's the only thing that's going to save people the world is going to be wrapped up it's it's it's inevitable it's been prophesied God has said it at the at a certain time all of this is over so it can't be saved right it's like a human body right saying that oh I will not die the body will not die if Christ Tes your body will die right so the same thing with the world the world is going to die I don't know how it might be a nuclear war or somehow it's world is done for oh it's done for R so all of this stuff that we doing you know um trying to um um save the world in quote right honestly that's what the world should be doing those of us in the church we're the ones already in the life raft our job is to get people off the boat not try and save the boat from sinking let the people on the boat try and be saving the boat our job is to save the people from sinking because that thing they're doing exercise in futility that is why I I I know that this is going to get us a lot of a lot of negative comments but I don't care I don't care Christian and politics honestly if God calls you to politics do politics but the church should not touch politics in any way shape or form as an institution right because in order to be successful in politics right you take the risk of undermining your ability to get people off the boat right and for me getting people off the boat is more important than anything that politics can produce if you pass a law for example cutting taxes for all the poor people that's a good thing right yeah but what is that going to do for them other than feed their bodies which is good right but think about it you feed their bodies for 20 30 40 50 60 70 years then what happens after that so the gains they're shortterm however ever you give them the bread of life yeah you give them the bread of life it's for eternity why would I jeopardize my ability to preach to them for short-term game because the process of getting this short-term game yeah is extremely problematic so now the church in America we've gotten our Supreme Court Justices right and they have overturned Ro v Wade they've made abortion um a state rights issue and the Christians are celebrating but what they don't realiz is that that's a peric victory the process for getting those judges has Stained us has undermined our credibility so many people will not hear anything we have to say because of the process by which we got roie Wade um overturned and after all of that is abortion going to stop absolutely not abortion is as old as eternity they're going to keep doing it it's just the nature of humanity it is depraved it's going to keep doing it but I guess some of us can maybe feel better about ourselves when we go to bed at night convincing ourselves that we that's the problem now right you're pursuing your own agenda not God's agenda we have been called we've been called to when Jesus Christ left what did he say we should do burn abortion no says preach the gospel yeah disciple the folks let's focus on that let the Holy Spirit be the ones telling people what to do or not do let's trust the holy spirit because we we we we we we mess with our credibility in irreparable ways and the church in America has done more damage to the gospel than the church can imagine through what they did from 2016 to 2020 there are people who don't want to hear gospel anymore because they say you guys are the ones who brought this person and we use the analogy of Cyrus we say Cyrus you know God God used Cyrus to to deliver Israel are we Israel some people think they we quot Bible try and quote it properly yeah I know right think our mission is not to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem our mission is to preach the gospel and let the Holy Spirit change people's hearts now we've undertaken to change our society but we will not change the society we just drive sin on the ground what we want to do is change people's hearts and people will change Hearts we change the society so we put the cat before the horse and now the cat can't move sorry no no that's I mean yeah yeah I know that a lot of people w't agree with me you're speaking my language so alas wow sorry I know right do I have any more time any more questions yeah to you have any any last question before I kind of ask the last the only question I actually have is for our viewers
