(1:24)Your Real Enemy Isn't Who You Think
All right. PF PF and the PF. filter. Awesome. That was great. But something that's been on my mind though is, you know, when you think of your enemy Mhm. what's the first thing that pops in your head and what do you think? People who can't pronounce my name properly. Wow. Shots fired. That's okay. That's PS answering. Can it was yours? I mean, when I think about enemies, right, I think about ops, right? like just anyone that is you know that's standing in opposition whether in I would say in any sense of the any sense of the word at work normal life like just anyone that's you know supportive yeah not supportive right trying to bring you down yeah trying to bring you haters that makes sense that makes sense I think whenever I think about it as well I I feel in your same boat just people that not supportive of me and when I bring something new to them and they're just shot shooting my ideas down or like that one coworker that just always wants to be like, "Oh, I haven't seen you in a while. Have you been working?" And it's just like, "Whoa." Like, that's your work. Yes. I was like, "I was working from home last week." They're like, "Oh, really?" I said, "Wow." Yeah. But I think when we think about those things, it says, I feel like something that has you've been talking about is spiritual warfare, right? And so is our enemies, the people that are not supportive of us is not trying to No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. The Bible says, okay, we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and the rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in heavenly places, right? People are not your enemy. People are in themselves victims, right? Pawns of an enemy, right? Jesus Christ said, "I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly." Right? But the devil, right, comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy. The devil is your enemy, right? The way he works is your enemy, right? And he will walk through people, right? But when you focus on people, you are wasting your time. M because if you were for example able to take one person down that the enemy has focused on he finds 10 more right so in essence right focusing on people does not neutralize your enemy right you have to focus on the enemy and thank God that in Christ Jesus we have victory right we are more than conquerors right but it behooves us to know that we are not fighting against the lady at work Mhm. M right or the ops right these are human beings who themselves right are being used by the enemy in order to destroy them right um think about it like this imagine if Jesus Christ had said Peter was his enemy right Peter spoke in in Peter's mind he was speaking out of love right and Jesus said get thee behind me Satan he didn't say get thee behind me Peter H cuz he recognized that Peter had opened himself up to be used by the enemy, right? And when Jesus Christ said, "Get thee behind me, Satan." Right? Peter went back to being Peter, right? A devoted and loyal follower of Jesus Christ. But in that one statement, he stood as a vehicle of opposition to Jesus's Jesus Christ's uh mission. Mhm. by trying to distract him from it, by trying to steal it or kill it or destroy it as it. Does that make sense? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, yeah. Then like how would you when somebody's like right in your face like how do you stop seeing that person as the problem? Like the same way Jesus Christ said, "Get
(5:29)Why Quoting Scripture At People Doesn't Work
thee behind me, Satan." Jesus Christ recognized, right? Human beings Yeah. human beings many times, right? Are the products of what they are thinking. So, so let me give an example. Okay. Somebody says something, right? And in their mind, what they said is truth. Mhm. Right. They think it came from them. But the devil placed the thought in them. Right. He planted a seed in their mind and they spoke that seed. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? Everybody who tries to bring you down, Everybody who tries to bring you down thinks that they have a good reason for doing it. Wow. Right. How did they come about that reason for doing it? Right. Somebody said to them, "You know what? It would be nice to get this girl fired, right?" You know, cuz then, you know, if she's fired, then maybe you can take her spot, right? They didn't come about that themselves many times, right? They somebody planted the idea in their head, right? And they decided, you know, I'm going to go and get you fired. And then they start to do everything that they can. And guess what? You think that person is is is the enemy. So you do everything you can to get that person fired, right? And and and and you succeed. That person gets fired, but then they bring someone else. That's even worse. That's worse. And that's what happens all the time when we focus on people. It's like you're focusing on an enemy. You know how in one film, one movies, somebody's got one of these guns, right? And you can see a belt of ammunition. Y right there's a long belt and there's a case of of ammunition. M there's tons of cases of ammunition and then you decide that you know I'm going to stop this bullet right I'm going to get I'm going to pull this bullet out of the rack out of the belt right yeah okay so you pull one bullet out of the belt there's still more more is an understatement there are cases of bullets right so if you pull out one bullet you haven't solved the problem you haven't even bought yourself time it's a millisecond before another bullet is loaded in and now you're led into this place of complacency that oh I have gotten rid of the bullet not knowing that there are 25 more bullets coming at you right and that is why uh uh Paul was trying to be clear with us that guys don't focus your attention on the wrong things don't major in the minors do not worry about people focus on the enemy re your blows rain your prayers whatever weapon you have right focus it on the enemy M not on people. That is why when you start quoting scripture at people, it doesn't work. Have you seen people quoting scripture about people? Right. Cuz the Bible says that the weapons um and the the sword of the spirit which is the word of God. So I I I I cut you with the word of God and they're like you are mad. The word of God does not have impact to cut a person. It has impact against the kingdom of darkness. M it is a sword of the spirit, not a sword of the flesh. So is that what you would use like against like witchcraft and curses and all those ancestral stuff? Okay. Okay. So
(8:52)Witches, Curses & The Cross
let's itemize. Oh, okay. Witchcraft. Yes. Curses. Ancestral stuff. Yeah. Right. Three things. Okay. Number one, if you are in Christ Jesus Mhm. The Bible says Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. Mhm. Right. Because it is written, cursed is everyone who hangs from a tree. He hung on the cross. She has redeemed us from the curse of the law. Every curse spoken by a witch has to find nexus with the law of God. Right? If you read the book of Deuteronomy 28, you will see a long list of blessings and you see a long list of curses. every and those curses are the product or the consequence of disobedience, right? Anytime a witch speaks a curse, they have to somehow tie it to disobedience, particularly when you're dealing with a child of God, right? But Jesus Christ has paid for all your disobedience. So there's nothing to tie it to anymore. So the Bible says a curse without a cause flies around like a sparrow and finds nowhere to perch. Right? That cause, the cause for every curse is that you broke the law of God. Did you hear what I'm trying to say? That is the cause of every curse. And Jesus Christ has taken the cause away. So nobody's cursing you. Right? Mhm. The Bible says, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper. And every tongue that rises up to accuse you, to condemn you, to judge you, you shall silence." This is the heritage of the children of God, right? We silence the accusations because again every curse is based off of an accusation. This girl stole my oranges so I want her to be unfruitful all her life. Right? And then Jesus Christ says, "Um um sir, excuse me, excuse me, I have paid." So we silence the accusations with the blood of Jesus. They that overcame him, they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony. And what is our testimony that Jesus Christ died for us? That is our testimony. So what's the third one you said? Have I have I addressed ancestral like generational ancestral stuff. No longer no longer shall the children's teeth be set on edge by the grapes that the fathers have eaten. It is the soul that sins that shall die. Mhm. Right. That is the new covenant. Yeah. Old things have passed away and all things have become new. Mhm. Not some things. M old things have passed away and all things have become new. The Bible says in Christ you are a new creature, a new creation, right? If I am new, then I'm new except for Yeah. what my ancestors did. Yes. The Bible says God visits the curses of the fathers upon the children to the um third and fourth generation. Right. That is if there's no break in the generation. I have there's been a break in my generation. It started with my father. My father was engrafted into the family of God. So I I have a lemon tree in my house. I had a lemon tree in my house, right? I bought a lemon tree. Actually gave me a an improved me lemon tree. Right. But that tree was engrafted into another tree. Mhm. Right. It didn't start sprouting lemons by itself. Mhm. They engrafted into another tree. Right. You can see the point of the graft. Mhm. If you buy a tree from Costco, just take a look at the bottom. You see a point where they graft the new tree into an old tree, right? That old that new tree receives life from the old tree. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? It receives life from the old tree, right? It's not part of its original tree. It's part of a new tree. I am part of a new tree, right? I have been engrafted into the family of God. How do you want to attach me, right, to curses, right, and iniquities from a family that I'm no longer a part of? Okay, so then if that's the case, like if I ain't got to worry about no curses, witches, generational curses, generational stuff that's happened.
(13:11)Generational Curse vs. Generational Trauma
There's generational trauma. Okay, generational trauma. There's generational trauma. There's generational fear. And let me explain what that means. When one generation experiences trauma, right, they can pass it on to the others, not spiritually, but emotionally and psychologically. Right. My my my wife is from the Ebo tribe of Nigeria. Mhm. The Ebo tribe went through a terrible, terrible experience in from I think 1965 to 1969, 1917 known as the Baffan war. Mhm. Right. It was a terrible thing. It was a terrible civil war in Nigeria. There was a lot of suffering, a lot of starvation, a lot of pain. Her parents were in the war, right? They lived in the east during the war and it was traumatic for them as you can imagine. Mhm. Right. They went through certain things. There was starvation. There was depriva. There was all sorts of stuff. My wife who was not alive during the war, right? Reacts to certain scenarios as if she was there. So my wife, for example, cannot bear food being thrown away. She can't stand it. She would rather watch the food go bad. I'm sorry, babe. Not putting you on blast. But she would rather watch the food get moldy than put it in the trash. And where do you get that from? It's from her folks who suffered severe deprivation because of this war. So learned to um learned to keep things. Yeah. Right. learned to conserve resources because in times of war there weren't excess. So food was not something you throw away. So they grew up in a in a family where you don't throw things away, right? Most people grow up in where you don't throw things away but it's just wasteful, right? It's not an existential threat. Do you get? So my wife is it's a problem now. She's better. But even then I didn't understand that about her. I thought she was just difficult. Why would why would you? And I hate I have a thing with mold. If I see mold, I can throw the whole fridge away. Yeah. It's when I see mold in the fridge, I literally do not want to touch anything in that fridge ever again. So I I I am mold's worst enemy. Yeah. Right. So when she lets food get moldy, I'm like, "What's what's wrong with this woman?" Until I got to understand that is generational trauma. And that's not spiritual. There's nothing spiritual about that, right? It's just train your child in the way that he should go. Yeah. And when he's old, he will not depart from. And the enemy is not behind that either. The enemy is not behind that. The enemy was behind the wall. But the enemy is not behind her parents teaching her not to be wasteful, but with the level of intensity that transcends her circumstances. My wife can afford a a bowl of salad. If the salad goes bad, she can buy another one. Yeah. And there's Kroger 5 minutes away. There's Walmart 2 minutes away, right? There's some organic store one and a half minutes away. There's Whole Foods 8 minutes away. And there's excess of food. Yeah. So sometimes we get generational traumas mixed up with spiritual generational curses. Okay. The curse is not is is different from that. Right. But if I am in Christ, right? And I have been engrafted into the family of God. I have left my original tree. So all of those curses, all of that stuff that came with my original tree, it did follow me into Christ.
(17:05)Do Christians Still Need To Fear The Devil?
So followed me to Christ. Christ has cleansed me. And I shouldn't I feel like in that case my mindset was that I shouldn't be worrying about no enemy or like the spiritual warfare that people talked about cuz I always thought like okay if I just I know if I just believe that I am in Christ then I know that nothing should happen to me then I'm good. So why am I worried about the devil like why should I worry about him? What does that look like? Yes. Because the Bible says that the enemy has a mission. Mhm. It is to steal, to kill, and to destroy. Certain He has been disarmed. Mhm. In certain ways. Okay. The generational curses. Mhm. He's been disarmed. Okay. The um witches and wizards, he's been disarmed. Mhm. Right. But he still has power, right? The Bible calls him the prince of the power of the air. There's still people who live under his influence. There's still people who do his bidding, right? As a Christian, it would be um malpractice, right, to assume Yeah. that the enemy is not going to bother with you. In fact, because you are in Christ, he's going with you. He's going to bother with you. Yeah. Right. If the devil is not bothering you because you're on his side, there's no point fighting with your teammates. You and him are good. Why is he going to bother with you? No, he's not going to bother with you. You're on you're on the same team and you have you're going to the same destination. So you I saw one lady on Instagram say she's not get a Christian. You don't have to worry about the devil anymore. And somebody said to her that why are you worrying about the devil? You your teammates and his his his fate is your fate. Yeah. Right. His judgment is your judgment. So why that's the whole point. He's trying to get Christians to the place where they'll be judged with him where they'll be punished with him. Right? So if you have voluntarily joined him to be punished with him, of course not going to bother with you. Mhm. He's going to in fact he's going to facilitate your your presence. He's going to make you comfortable. A comfortable team me that's what team members do. Right. He'll make you very comfortable. Right. But the devil is trying a to destroy, to steal, to kill. But his goal, people keep thinking the devil wants to take my car. The devil wants to take my marriage. The devil wants to take my house because you know the devil just doesn't like me. No, the devil wants to destroy your faith. Because if he can destroy your faith, he can separate you from God. Right? And if he can separate you from God, he can say to God, "Well, I got one of yours." God loves you, so the devil hates you. It's not personal to you. It's a battle between him and God that he has lost. Have you ever Okay. You grew up here. You never seen them kill a chicken? No, I haven't. You haven't?
(19:47)The Devil Is A Headless Chicken
I haven't seen that. Okay. Well, kindness, you have? Yeah. Okay. You cut off a chicken's head, right? And you think it's just going to lay down there. Nope. He jumps around and splatters blood all over the place and makes a mess and knocks things down. That's what the devil is, right? He's like a headless chicken, but can still do some damage, but ultimately he's lost the battle and he knows that. But some people don't know he's lost the battle. So they engage with him and interact with him as if he still has power, right? As if he can still do stuff thereby giving him power. Oh, let's let's unpack that. Sorry. Let's wait. unpack that because what the devil goes around like like a roaring lion seeking whom he will devour. Let me give you an example. Right. The devil cannot get you to jump off a cliff. Mhm. Right. He can make noise, but if you know that he's just noise, you're not going to jump off the cliff. But if he gets you to believe he's a lion in trying to avoid him, you jump off the cliff. I see what you're saying. Yeah. So deception. There you go. Yeah. Deception. distortion, right? Those are his stocking trade, deception and distortion, right? And what he has done successfully is that he has distorted the truth and hidden the truth, right? About his weakness, says resist the devil from and he will flee from you. Didn't say he will sulk away. He will flee from you. And how do you resist the devil? The sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. And Jesus Christ gave us a classic example. In fact, a part of me wonders if that temptation of Jesus was really necessary. Why did he go through that? God already knew he was not going to um give in. Yeah. Right. Why did he let him be tempted? I feel that it happens so that we can know how to resist the devil. He showed us what to do. So when the devil comes and that is how he comes, he comes with temptation. He comes with ideas. He comes with suggestions. Right? And he says, "Rosling, put a knife in Kenneth's eyes. It is written. Don't Don't do that. It is written. It is written. It is written. It is written." The devil is always trying to bargain with us. If you do this for me, I will give you this. If you do that for me, I will give you this. Right? And ultimately, it is written, right? If you if you step left, you get pleasure. At his right hand, there are pleasures forever more. But we don't know that, right? that the way to deal with the enemy is by standing in the truth of God's word. Truth is light and light always dispels darkness, right? Always dispels darkness. But when you say, well, you know, so it comes with all these things about witchcraft and and and ancestral curses, right? Let me tell you about ancestral curses. The reason why that that revelation is problematic, it takes your eyes off Christ, the finished work of Christ. Yeah. It takes your eyes off the finished work of Christ and puts your eyes on a project that you think you can finish by yourself, which is basically you can you can pray yourself out of an ancestral curse. You can fast yourself out of it. You can deliver yourself out of it, right? That takes the um the focus off of Christ, off of the cross, right? And puts your attention on yourself, right? And immediately your eyes get away from the cross. You know what happens? You know how Jesus Christ says, "If you abide in me, right, and my words abide in you, you will have fruit. You will you will pray and God will answer you." Literally, when you take your eyes off Christ, it's like you stepped out of the house, right? On the night of Passover, God said to the Israelites, "Put the blood of the lamb on the doorpost and the lintters of your homes and do not step out of the house." Yep. The devil is always trying to get us to step out of the house. Because once you step out of the house, ah, he got you and he legitimately got you because God already told you protection is in the house. Right. And you, how do you stay in the house? Just by staying inside. Staying in Christ. Staying in the place of faith in Christ. Staying in the place of confidence in Christ. Once you step out of that faith in Christ and you start to put your faith in you, you stepped out of the covering of the blood, you've fallen from grace, right? And then you are vulnerable. That's the problem. That's what he tries to do, right? Get you out from under the blood because when you're out from under the blood, right, he got you. But the devil can't be everywhere at once.
(24:28)Principalities, Powers & The Hierarchy
We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities. Principalities, powers, okay, the rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. That is a demonic hierarchy. Oh, it's angels, fallen angels, right, who serve in the devil's army. Those are the generals, right? the lieutenant generals, the brigadeier generals, the connells, right? The lieutenant colonels, the captains, the majors of the devil's army. So, he got people. They're not people. They're Well, not not people, but like he got he got a crew. He got a crew. When the devil left heaven, he left with a third of the angels. Wow. A third of the angels. Right. Now, those are the ones who left heaven. Right. Right. Right. I don't want to get into speculation or hearsay or whatever, but there are some people who say that that army has increased not in that more angels. Mhm. Right. But some kind Let's not get into it because speculative demonology. Demonology. Yes. I I don't I don't I don't want to get into that. But yeah, there are a lot of them. There's only one devil. Yeah. But he's got agents. But he got Okay. Agents. Yeah. He's got agents. So the principalities right? Are the spirits that rule over places, over geographical territories, classic example, the prince of Persia, right? That withtood the angel that God sent to Daniel, right? When he was praying, he was praying, right? That was a geographical entity, principalities, right? Then you have the powers, right? The powers are a a lower level, right? But they um they operate through how do you describe it? Through influence. Okay. Right. They they are not princes. They're a little lower than princes. So if you go for example to certain areas, right? You'll say, "Oh, this area, have you noticed that the folks in this area have a tendency to be promiscuous?" Yeah. Right. The powers are the ones driving that promiscuity, right? And then you've got spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. You've got the rulers of the darkness of this world. The rulers of the darkness of this world are sorry spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. I'm I'm getting mixed up. One of them's job is to make sure that the gospel is not preached. Mhm. That's their mission, right? And then there's there are those whose mission is just to make sure that is wickedness. They're the ones driving the terrorists, right? They're the ones who are who are who are fermenting just things that are unfair random acts of wickedness. Yeah. Just because all of these things, right, Kenneth, people keep missing the point. The point is to discourage you. Is to wear you out. Is to get you to a point where it's like, you know what, this Christianity, this God is not real. That's the point. To disconnect you from your faith so that you can step out of the house. That's the point. Anything that gets you out from under Jesus. Yeah. Understand that somehow it doesn't matter if somebody's quoting scripture, the devil is involved. Anything that gets you out from under Christ, even if is Judaism, the devil is fermenting it. I don't know if it's soft in it. This is so in terms of the the spiritual
(28:00)The 613 Laws Trap: Religion vs. Faith
warfare that we experience, right? So what I'm hearing is while we do have the the victory in Christ, we are covered in Christ, if even just slightly, we allow ourselves to be, I would say, tricked into not understanding or knowing our position. We are then susceptible to vulnerable. Vulnerable. You're vulnerable. Yes. The word you're vulnerable devices. Yeah. You're vulnerable. Think about it like this, right? Your connection is like a baby in the mother's womb. The umbilical cord, right, is what sustains life for the baby. Not being in just being in the mother's womb. That umbilical cord, right, is what carries nutrition, oxygen, everything to the baby. What the devil is trying to do is severe your umbical cord to God. And your umbical call to God is your faith. M if you can cut your faith right either by getting you to engage in religion because religion is not based on faith it's based on works if I can get you to try and obey the ten commandments only right yeah so so let me give you an example he he he tells me oh just the ten commandments there 613 commandments if you obey only 10 you're in violation of 53 sorry 603, right? You're you're done. You're toast, right? And then he's like, "Well, you don't have to do the ten commandments. Just be good. You're finished." Right? Or you're in a church, right? And they're like, "Well, we believe in grace, but you know, you have to do this and you have to do that." Right? You're in trouble. Because once you get into the law, you get into works. And the Bible says that by the works of the law shall no man be justified. Right? That's what the Bible say. And the Bible says if you fail in one, you fail in all. So if I'm if God is grading you, if you decide if you decide that you want to be um you want to be graded on the law, right? Understand that you will be graded on all 63 laws. And hear me, there is no 98% or 99%. There's no grading on the curve. you get 100% or you get 0%. M right now people don't know that. They think all I have to do is try hard. Yeah. Right. But no, if you fail one law, right, you fail all. But 98% of us don't know all the 613 laws. That 99% of us don't know the 613 laws. Yeah. I didn't know until I started reading my Bible. Right. And I was very surprised by the things. You cannot be trying to obey the laws of God and be eating bottom feeders, shrimp, catfish, lobster, just being a girl every month. Yeah. You cannot Yes. You cannot have your period and go to church. You can't enter the presence of God. They You can't have your period and touch somebody. You defile them. Don't you and you stone you, right? The the number of things you can be stoned for. Oh, yo. You cannot wear the different fabrics. Y right. So all of these things, right? And the devil tries to get you into a place where you think, "Okay, well, God no longer cares about all 613 laws." Did God tell you I don't care about them anymore? They're telling you, "Oh, this one is cultural. This one is administrative. You don't have to obey the administrative laws. You don't have to obey the cultural laws." This is for the Jews. There's nowhere in the Bible that says that. M the Bible says if you fulfill if you observe to do all that is commanded in this word of the law these are the blessings that will pursue you and if you do not observe to do all that is commanded in these laws these are the curses Deuteronomy 28 there are plenty all so all the devil needs to do is get you into that place where you have to do all the law and you can't it doesn't have to get you to commit adultery. Adultery for what? Just get you to wear two different fabrics. You are not innocent cuz you are wearing cotton and linen blend. You have broken the law. That means you can be stoned. That means you can be accused. That means the devil can come for you at night or even in the daytime. That's the problem, right? is that the goal of the enemy is to severe our faith. And he does it not just by suffering. People think, "Oh, he will make you suffer so you can curse God." No, he will make you religious so you can forget that it is by grace through faith that you have been saved. That's it. That's how he works. So all of these things that he is doing, right? He can't drive your car. He can't he can't drive your car, can't marry your wife, can't can't even do your job. So then what about the person that is in faith in Christ and they're like, you know, strong there. But wouldn't the devil still be coming after them as well? Like how do they constantly It's like a constant fight. It's not like you're always constantly fighting. A constant fight. It's not because it seems like he's going to keep coming after me. Okay, he's going to come. He's going to come after you. But there's some things that are not the devil, okay, that we misstate. Yes. Some things are not the devil. In this world, you will have problems. It's the nature of the fallen world. The devil, so God has set in place, has put certain things into motion, right? It's on autopilot. Some things are on autopilot. The world is on a downward spiral, right? Part of the downward spiral is the corruption of certain creatures, virus, bacteria. Yep. Those were creatures that were made by God. The devil didn't create viruses or bacteria. What he did was that they corrupted them and instead of them being beneficial, they become destructive. Mhm. Right. They also have been deceived, corrupted. How? I don't know. But that is what it is. Right. So what God intended to be a blessing then in their own warped way become destructive. Right? The things that we consume on this planet, right? Right. The devil doesn't have to touch anything. He's not everywhere. Just keep microwaving food inside plastic. Yeah. And you get all the hormone disruptors, right? Is that the devil? He set it in motion because the people who put that thing in our food, they knew. They knew. But prophets, yep, they didn't care. Yeah. But guess what? He doesn't have to directly every day. Some things he has already set in motion. Some things the world is already on a downward spiral. So we are going to encounter is Mhm. on this earth. Right. And he does not have to do anything directly. Mhm. to to to mess with it, right? Yeah. Wow. Interesting, huh? Very very interesting. I, you know, we came into this, I think, focused on spiritual warfare or just that idea being about, like you said, the witches, the wizards and and the curses. But the more you spoke, I think we have come to the conclusion that this is really uh a battle for our faith. It's a battle for your faith, man. The witches, the wizards, all of those guys, right? The even if they have any efficacy. Mhm. They can only touch your body for your life here. That's short-term short-term thinking. If they win a battle on this earth, very short-term battle, right? It's a it's a long game. It's like, okay, so you defeat me for 5 minutes, right? But we've got all of eternity. Yeah. You see some friends here. So at the end of the day, we have to put we have to think strategically, right? And stop thinking like children. We are very childish in our analysis of events. Sometimes I be like, really? You you you think this is about trinkets? It's about shiny objects that you wear on your wrist. You think this is about what 60, 80, 90 years when there's all of eternity? No, man. We we keep measuring things with metrics that the Bible has already told us don't count. What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his soul? The devil knows that. So he guess what? But he knows that you have attached your soul to the world. So he will try and take the world from you so that you can lose your soul or give you the world so that you can lose your soul. That's what the battle is about. And your soul lives by faith. M by your faith.
(37:12)Why Leaving The Church Is The Trap
So if your soul is living by faith, by your faith in Christ, by your faith in Christ, then when you're trying to continue holding that faith in it sound like trying to do it by yourself, doesn't that sound like you will also be I don't know cuz he can get into your thoughts. So how do you not let those thoughts win? Like how about people surrounding yourself so that you can constantly remind yourself that is why God gave us the church, right? If you watch lions attacking um an elephant, elephant, any other any animal, they try to find the weakest, but they always try to separate it. They never attack like an army fighting another army. They find one creature and separate it from the rest, then they attack it. That's what all um all the the the big carnivores do. Yeah, they never attack a team of deer. They separate it, right? Because they understand that if they can separate you from your team, you are weak. And then we've got these people now, this deconstructionist, this Christians, this, you know, oh, we don't need the church people doing the work of the devil. Because what they doing right is convincing people to leave the right not knowing that the devil goes around like a roaring lion seeking whom he will devour. How does a lion work? Separate you from your her. So he's trying to separate people because you see the church has problems. Oh my god. The church has problems. Well the church is human and the people who say the church have problems have problems. But they have problems. There's no butt there. There's no butt there. Now I do like I know what you're going to say, right? Let me tell you this. As long as the church is made up of human beings, it is going to be as messed up as the human beings. Yeah. Period. Do would you say the enemy is behind that as well? Like trying to divide within the church. Let me tell you what what the enemy does. The enemy highlights highlights. Mhm. And romanticizes. The enemy says to you, "Well, this person is not supposed to be as weak as they are." And you believe that nonsense. Are they Jesus? Are they God? If you think uh you will know that you are dealing with another human being and we all have weaknesses. Some people the devil stirs them up and makes convinces them that they are super human and then guess what he does? He brings them down, right? To destroy the people who have drunk the Kool-Aid. But shouldn't the church be protected? How did they who's protecting the church? Let you know our faith in Christ like protects the church. It doesn't protect the church. It protects the church in that no weapon formed against the church will prosper. So the devil has tried to destroy the church. In fact, Jesus Christ said, "I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it." All of these years, all the scandals, all the the bad press, all the negativity, the church has not diminished. That's very true. It's still up and running. Yes. What I what frustrates me is when we I made these dogooders, right, who take it upon themselves who do the work of the devil and they don't realize they're doing the work of the devil. Yeah, they're doing the work of the devil. I get it. You know, you want to hold people accountable, but pull this one down. Pull this one down. All you do is pull down the people who have are have built him up. Yeah. Doesn't do anything. Doesn't stop anything. Right. I think Christians need to ask themselves who is to gain who gains from creating this super excellent flawless church. Church. Yeah. Who gains from getting us to believe that? Because we're not flawless. Yeah. I always say to people, right, the day you look in the mirror and see perfection, that's the day you can demand perfection from any human being. Well, I expect that if you're a leader, my friend. Mhm. Did I stop being human? If you say because I'm a leader, uh, right? Because I'm a leader, I am no longer human, then you have to treat me like God. And I'm okay with that. Treat me like God. Bring all your tithe into my personal pantry. Seriously, people can expect perfection from me the day they start giving me writing my name on their tithe. Send me your 10%. I'll be perfect for you. Don't send me to church. Don't send me to new covenant house. Don't send No, no, no. Send me. Write my name on your 10%. Every offering you give, write my name on it. When you wake up in the morning, send me a text and tell me how wonderful I am. I'll be perfect for you until that day. Until that dayh you expect perfection from me and you deceive yourself cuz I'm telling you now I'm not perfect. Open your eye. Shine your eye. To fight against this is to stay have faith in Christ and stay there.

You can leave a church and go to another church, right? You can leave a denomination and go to a non-denomination. Yeah. Right.
