un filter hello and welcome to another episode of PF on Filter Hey AKA Pastor Femi on filter yeah yeah I'm like you know there's a theme now guys that when I do this introductions you guys just fall my hand you don't give e for yeah there's no like try again one more time hello and welcome to another episode of PF on filter I knew I knew PF was not going I knew it I don't know what to say to I knew it anyway um I'm happy to be here um I God me too okay I'm happy too are you guys excited any any any new events I know PF is going to say nothing happened or he's going to say recently or it's going to say happen my life is very boring it's very no no your life is very boring Bor Li is also very busy busy and boring two two things can be try the same time that's true that's fair fair fair uh we were we were told by our production team to make sure that people are aware that we do have video videos videos um because as you can tell you know pf's beautiful face probably going to be the last time I ever use those words uh and then yeah because beautiful is not the well I should handsome face just keep going oh okay and then you have sh as well we all know that's why you're here yes exactly exactly cuz you know it's clearly not for PF and I or for PF AB the name doesn't matter it doesn't it's it can't be um sh do you want to actually I have been receiving a lot of messages not too maybe you know you put it inside anyway um so PF this episode is um showing do you want to do you want to do you want to do the honors or do you want me to do the honors this episode go ahead do the honors um so this episode is is it makes sense uh to shim and I typically talk about the episodes we meet like before we come here and we have a conversation about how what to say what the content is what touches her what touches me like spiritually and um we came to love and love made the most sense for us to kind of like before a season finale right the penultimate episode for us to kind of just sit on love sit on and talk about love and talk about love because it's all about right you know I was going to do a little spel about Christ said you know like the summary of the two laws right or all the laws actually it's loving God and loving your neighbor as yourself right um and then Shu will do us the honors of reading the love chapter um preferably in the British accent but again production said we should keep it let's not do the they don't want me to you know okay yeah um all right I'm going to get started I'm joking oh please let me just speak um so this is 1 Corinthians 13 and I'm going to start from chapter one uh verse one um if I speak in the tongues of men or Angels but do not have love I am only a resounding gong symb or clanging symbol if I have the gift of Prophecy and can fathom all Mysteries and all knowledge and if I have a faith that can move mountains but do not have love I am nothing if I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast but do not have love I gain nothing love is patient love is kind it does not envy it does not boast it is not proud it does not dishonor o others it is not self-seeking it is not easily angered it keeps no record of wrongs love does not Delight in evil but rejoices with the truth it always protects always trusts always hopes Always perseveres Love Never Fails but where there are prophecies they will seize where there are tongues they will be stilled where there is knowledge it will pass away for we know in part and we prophesy in part but when completeness comes what is in part disappears when I was a child I talked like a child I thought like a child I reasoned like a child when I became a man I put the ways of childhood behind me for now we see only a reflection as in the mirror then we shall see face to face now I know in part and then I shall know fully even as as I am fully known and now these three things remain faith hope and love but the greatest of these is love amen so um when we were talking I I shared with her that I don't feel like for me I can speak for myself that I don't think I exhibit This Love This definition of love that Paul was talking about in the in the Bible and Sh was trying to help me see through and say are you sure that you're not patient right and you're not kind in certain circumstances because you're you're a father now more specifically right and um and I I felt like like it was a good point but when I read things like not hold record record of wrongs or um what else there was a bunch of other always trusts hopes always I guess the the absolute of like always I don't feel like I measure at all right all right so we're just curious to get your own filter take on this chapter and if it's a Christian thing so love is basically the the basis right for Jesus's existence so to speak he came the Bible says for God to love the world that he gave his only begotten son um the Bible tells us to love one another and I think that one of the reasons why that chapter exists is so that we can have love clearly defined right um so that we know what love is because you know human beings we will Define it in a way that is most convenient for us right we will set the bar at a level which we think we can overcome which is realistic but you also have to remember that that is also a description of the love of God right it's a description of God right one of the things that I think we forget with scripture is that sometimes I don't want to use the word aspirational but sometimes it is like Paul trying to show us how low we are right how far we are from the mark right so you're reading that and you're saying I'm not always kind I'm not always patient right I'm not always always gentle I hold records of wrongs record of wrongs right when you read that yeah what it should do to you is realized that you fall short right you fall short of God's standard and when you fall short of God's standard what happens try harder right which is generally the the the impulse right try harder but God's standard for us in this flesh is almost I can say unmet right so Jesus Christ in Matthew Chapter 5 says blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled the reason why they hunger and thirst after righteousness is because they don't see righteousness right in themselves right so they hunger and thirst for it and they shall be filled and the feeling is Christ yeah so when you read 1 Corinthians 13 and you're sincere with yourself you realize how badly you fall short and then when you read about how if you don't love you're an empty symbol right um you read about how if if you how can you say you love God right and you're not working in love right because God is love all of those things are designed I think to show us how far we are from the mark how almost by ourselves the Mark is unattainable and what that should do is drive you to Christ right so for me when I read all of these things I just say thank you for Jesus right because in Christ I am the righteousness of God in Christ I am Perfect Right In Christ my love is perfect in Christ my forgiveness is perfect when I am in Christ God looks at me and what he sees is perfection right when I step outside of Christ what I get is frustration right because again I am not meeting the mark right when when Jesus Christ uh said that there are two Commandments love God and love your neighbor he was again setting for us a standard that in this flesh we cannot meet right and if you can't meet the standard the only way to be good with God is through Christ you cannot be good with God by loving your neighbor as yourself because you really will not you will always love yourself more than your neighbor as long as we're in this flesh there's an inherent selfishness that drives sin that is a that's part and parcel of sin let not drives it part and parcel of sin right so as as long as we have that sinful nature as long as we're in this flesh yeah we're going to have selfishness and selfishness is always going to stand against love Christ go yeah so I guess my question is then if we are in Christ so we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and savior we are born again we are like walking in in that yes can we then like is it possible to walk in the Perfection of Love On Earth as people like in regards to each other yes so so this is how it works let's use the the story of the woman that was caught in adultery right um when those guys brought her to Jesus and said she committed adultery and they wanted to Stone her right and Jesus said let him that is without sin cast the first stone right when they all walked away he said to her uh who are the people that accuse you accuses and she said then there's nobody then he goes I don't condemn you right and then he goes and then he says go and sin no more so the absence of condemnation right becomes the foundation of um not sinning right so if you are in Christ and you accept that in Christ you are perfect you accept that in Christ you are the righteousness of God what you do is you make room for the Holy Spirit and in making room for the Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit leads you and guides you right and when the Holy Spirit is leading you and guiding you and you're following the leading and The Guiding of the holy spirit it's almost like you'll look back and be like dang I've been walking in love all this time and I didn't even realize it I was just following the Holy Spirit right because there's no way that the holy spirit will lead you out of love right or Leave You Lead you in a way that you step out of love if you are been led by the spirit your actions will always be loving actions and that's kind of like and so I want to stay there for second PF because it seems like cuz I what you're saying makes so much sense but it looks to me at least let me stay with me like my actions don't translate into what that's described right so are you being led the question are you being led by the spirit right right but I feel like most people if they're being sincere I'm not saying just on Sunday I'm saying Monday the way you treat your kids the way you get ready for work when the anxiety comes in when whenever you're trying to read an email from your boss or whatever it is I'm not saying that's bad right but our actions does not seem to mean I was telling sh to me to mirror or Shad or not Shadow Mirror anything that's Christlike because to your point it proves that maybe we're not working in the spirit but we think we are I I don't know how you can think you are if if right your compass right is scripture right if if this is what the Bible says the fruit of the spirit is and that is not the fruit you see in your life clearly you're not being led by the spirit whatever it is that leading you it is not the spirit right because if it is the spirit this is what we will see right and and this is one of the challenges that I think um we have as Christians and you know I've been saying this a lot we have so what what we call Christianity is really a hybrid of Judaism and some Christianity right and when you are being religious you are more likely to be self-righteous than loving right you're more likely to be mean than loving right a religious person emphasizes the wrath of God the vindictiveness of God right the um justice of God and all of those things are true but when you experience the love of God right when you when you experience the reality that everything that you are everything that you have everything that you could be right is undeserved is by the grace of God right when you come to that place you you will make room for the Holy Spirit right and when you make room for the Holy Spirit the holy spirit will lead you the Bible says we should labor to enter into his rest that is the challenge for us that is where the work is being led by the spirit not by our intellect not by what we have been taught in religious um settings but being led by the spirit it's almost like there is a battle in our minds between what the holy spirit is telling us to do right and what everything else is telling us to do classic example somebody does something to you and the Holy Spirit says Let It Go everything that you have learned from when you were a baby to that point says nah man if you let it go this person is going to do it again right if you let it go you're going to look like a fool if you let it go you must be impotent right but the holy spirit says Let It Go the voice of the holy spirit is literally competing with the voice of your education the voice of your experience the voice of your peir group everything which one are you going to follow because if you follow the Holy Spirit right the Bible says as many as are led by the spirit of God they are the sons of God the sons of God bear the reflection or the image of their father right but when we're not being led by the spirit of God right when we're being led for example by an eye for an eye or a tooth for a tooth right when we're being led by that if you are caught if you catch a woman in the bed of adultery Stone her you're not going to see love right why because we're not being led by the spirit and let's talk a little bit about the Holy Spirit the holy spirit is is God right the holy spirit is God and the Bible says that God will not will not will not countenance iniquity the Bible says that your God's ears are not deaf right that he cannot hear your prayers his hand is not shut that he cannot save you it is sin that separates us from God right sin separates us from the Holy Spirit right but it's not the sin of our actions alone that separate us from the holy spirit it's the sin of Adam on the inside of us that separates us from the holy spirit that is why before the blood of Jesus was shed the Holy Spirit did not in habit anybody the holy spirit will come upon them speak through them and be gone he couldn't leave there right he could visit usually after they have washed themselves but they don't stay clean right so it is critical that you come to a place of um how do I say this sin sinlessness but not in the eyes of men but in the eyes of God in order for God to live in you he has to think that you are without sin right he has to he has to know that you without sin how does God count you righteous what is the basis of being sin free in the eyes of God Christ Jesus if we like from a practic I know you want to is it the first from a practicality standpoint sorry yes I like I love that please so as practical as possible right and I do not mean to I don't even know my which one is my camera I don't have camera probably I not mean to like to I'm not not condemning anyone cuz I will be condemning myself but PF like what are we doing cuz if you I'm going to generalize for generalize for a second if you look at our lives as Christians right to me 80% of it does not look Christlike practically speaking we don't exhibit the fruits of the spirit we exhibit more of the fruits of the flesh there's anger there's frustration there's bitterness we might exhibit the fruits of the spirit like on Wednesdays and Sundays or to those who tolerate us but we don't if we if I okay sorry I'm sorry let me use if I were to look at my life without condemnation right right I don't see that on a on a consistent basis so how can I in good faith say I'm a Christian if the if the answer if if I I I bake you know I've been talking about this a lot when you when you bake bread or cake right from a recipe and you look at the cake in the picture right and you bake the cake from that recipe and the cake that you have baked does not look like the cake in the picture there's something wrong ex it's not the picture that is wrong right it is the way you have baked the cake that is wrong and that is what we don't do we don't go back and check the way that we have baked the cake and usually what that means that we have not followed the recipe is it because it's too scary to look to no no it is because we don't look at the recipe we would rather talk to Shan and have Shan tell us how to bake the cake when the baker has given us the recipe to bake the cake what if that recipe is hard I mean because you know it's like tolerate those toate love those who don't love me no you see what you have done what you have done is now you're looking at the results you're looking at the right right you're looking at the cake all of that you have to go back and look at the recipe the cake is the fruit of the spirit that's the cake right the kindness the gentleness the patience the not keeping a record of wrongs that's the cake how do we get there is the recipe right and if we're not there yeah go back and look at the recipe let me tell you what we do let me tell you what we do we lie and we pretend that's the cake we eat it it's delicious but but it's not right and the people who are looking at it are like this is not the cake you people said you trying to bake and rather than us going back and looking at the recipe guess what we do we double down we believe that if we shout it it will be true if we're militant about it it would be true right it's not it's not everything that we do as Christians Right comes from the Holy Spirit yeah if we're not seeing it the problem then is are we being led by the spirit are we being led by the flesh The Works of the flesh are ABC we see ABC the fruits of the spirit are EFG we don't see EFG so clearly it can't be the holy spirit that is leading us so when I was having this conversation with T I think what I struggled with the most was when we're like when we read the whole chapter and like like I had shared a little earlier like the absolutes like like always protects always trust always hopes always perseveres and like me thinking I mean yeah there are days that I am kind and I am patient and I'm not boastful but on the days that I'm not yeah I mean more more than few but maybe few but not far between is that better I don't know but but I just I think I was struggling with on the days that I'm not what does that then say about me in my walk the Bible says a righteous man falls seven times right and gets up again so even when you're being led by the Holy Spirit you will make mistakes right you will think this is the Holy Spirit and it might not be the Holy Spirit right it's built into scripture that there's a possibility that you will not get it right every time right even Paul said that the things I want to do those are not the things I do the things I don't want to do those are the things that I do so there's always going to be a little bit of that right when when as long as we're in this body we're not going to be perfect that's why this body is going to die right except Jesus ties and then we're transformed we're not taking this body into heaven because this body has a propensity to fall our hands let's put it like that right yeah so so the question that we must all ask ourselves right what is leading us what is determining the choices we make how do I react in this situation how do I deal with this person is it the Holy Spirit or is it my flesh and when I say My Flesh I want you to understand that everything that is not the holy spirit is the flesh the letter is the flesh right and when I say the letter I'm talking about everything from Malachi let me rephrase that everything everything from before the Acts of Apostles all the way to Genesis right Everything Jesus said because we forget that Jesus while he was on the earth lived like a Jew right he was functioning under the laws of Moses right and he kept kep trying to get them to look beyond the laws of Moses so he kept challenging them and saying if you look at a woman to Lost after her you have committed adultery because what the laws of Moses says if you commit adultery doesn't talk about what you're thinking in your heart right so he kept escalating it and that and that is the same theme a lot of what is in scripture is to make us realize how much we need Christ right because honestly I don't know how you can read 1 Corinthians 13 and think that by yourself you can do this it's impossible it's it's literally impossible but if you're led by the spirit right with Christ all things are possible right when I'm being led by the spirit oh I can I I will forgive right when I'm being led by the spirit I will be kind I will be gentle but you know sometimes I may not hear the spirit as clearly as I should right but the problem is not the Holy Spirit the problem is with us yeah we're not listening for the Holy Spirit we're we're so locked into this perception of what a Christian is based not off the teachings of Christ or even the teachings of Paul but more the teachings of Moses and there's no space in the teachings of Moses to be led by the Holy Spirit there just isn't it's not possible because you're always I you know what you saying about um it not being easy Jesus Christ said come unto me all ye that labor and I Heaven Laden my yoke is easy and my burden is light if your Christianity is not easy or light who are you yoked to it is not it is not Christ cuz he said his joke is easy do you what I'm trying to say no I I absolutely get so why don't you question absolutely get why don't you question what you are yolked to I I absolutely and that I think that was where I was trying to go to that why don't we if we look if we okay realize that my fruits are not producing the fruits of the spirit my fruits are not the fruits of the spirit they are yeah sorry yeah they are my fruits are the fruits of the flesh yes right my actions aren't producing the fruits of the spirit when my chent is hard right it's hard and tedious and laborious yes why what is preventing us from going to going and looking and then if we go and look why is there such a like you were saying like a defense mechanism towards ah man if this is not the Holy Spirit I don't even want to I don't I don't want to look because I don't want to feel shame or gu I'm sorry I don't understand that or so like for example what I'm saying is like for me if I go back and I question and I say okay T what is the true Source what is your true source is it Christ or is is it Antichrist right Antichrist that's like anything but because anything that to me Antichrist is anything that is is very specific okay different episode I'm just trying to like be use the anything that is not Christ is against Christ is what I'm trying to say but I I get what you're saying what not really no no the law points you to Christ right the law points you to Christ but it doesn't justify you so using that word Antichrist very Loosely not in the specific way the Bible uses it right the law is is almost like you could say the law is the the um what's that um it's the opposite of Christ but the law points to Christ yeah I I I agree I think I mean I think if you truly have I think you've said this in previous episode if you truly have Christ then you would understand what that he wasn't abolishing the law was fulfilling it but again like to your point I maybe I used the wrong term or I use it I just want us to be C yes fine fineus yeah not to to as confus but what I was trying to go back to was like what is preventing us and I think for me it's shame and condemnation which should let me know that you if you're in Christ there should be no condemnation what is preventing us from looking in the mirror and saying okay T your fruits that you exhibiting are not fruits of the spirit I know you want them to be and I understand but they are not what is your Source what what are you what what do you truly worship right I feel like most of us don't do that inquiry because it's hard to look ourselves in the mirror and realize that maybe maybe I might say I love good I might H with my with my lips but my hearts are far away from me that's what I think is the at least for me sh what do you think I'm curious I'm just curious like what sh me to this no I mean I I think it is hard to like to look yourself in the mirror and like re-evaluate I think it's hard to to you know self-awareness to go back and say oh am I really exhibiting what Christ has said this is his fruit um and why am I not um it it's not the easiest thing to do especially if you think that you've been doing so like especially if you feel like you've you know you're grown up in church and like you're serving the lord you're going you're receiving the sermons you're listening to the podcast and then you're like wait but my life isn't matching up with what the word says right okay so so I don't think it is hard because we are ashamed I think it is hard because we're fighting against everything we have been taught right if you don't know if you've been taught right this is how you drive a car and you get in the car and you do everything you've been taught and the car is not moving you're going to double down on it right but if you read the manual and compare the manual with what you've been taught you realize that there's a problem here right and the problem is not in the manual the problem is not the car the problem is what you have been taught and I think one of the reasons why we don't examine ourselves is because we don't realize that we're falling short and the reason why we don't realize we're falling short is because and I hate to say this we don't read the Bible we don't know Christ right we don't know 1 Corinthians 13 in that sense if you know Christ if you read Hest if you read the Bible let's not even talk about knowing just read the Bible it's not you you you really have to be self delusional to things that you measure up PF is going but you're right I you have to be delusional to not realize that man me I'm far from this as this is from the west and again look at the recipe have you ever put together furniture from Ika yeah when you're done putting it together that the thing is not looking like what you saw in the store right A lot of people you know what they will do they will call the Ikea Guy They'll call some handy man to come and do it for them they call the pastor to come and fix it for them but the manual is there read it you find out that you ignored number five on page six you skipped it P we've established that that's the thing that we we call you I'm sorry it's not I know we should not no I don't mind but it's convenient call you for my problems now now now let me tell what has happened me what I do has been elevated right beyond the scope of what Christ intended right Jesus Christ said I give gifts to the church pastors evangelists prophets Apostles teachers for the perfecting of the Saints for the work of the ministry right what the church has turned into is this pastors evangelists Apostles teachers do the ministry not perfect the S to do the ministry right my job is to perfect you to do the ministry teach you how to be a handy man not make myself the only handy man you know make you so useless that you have to keep calling me can I tell you some some stop calling him this is humor this is humor someone told me that ah cuz they asked him to his child was given birth first child hope they don't listen to this and is like and they ask the person to help do something and he goes why am I not paying yes so say just like imagine like a pastor telling me I you am I not paying there you go that's that there you go my job and that is the that is the misunderstanding right my job right is to perfect the Saints to do the work what we have done is that we do the work right and the Saints support us to do the work so I'm the guy you call when you need something 70% of the things that I'm called for I should not be called for it right I should Empower you to take care of some things because I'm not God I can only be in one place at a time there's no Pastor that can be in five places at a time right sorry two places at a time right some of them claim they can be we know we know they can't the point I'm trying to make is this right every Christian Christian should know right everybody who says they are Christians should know right that the laws right were given to show us that we're Sinners they were not given to make us righteous they were given to show us that we're Sinners and when we are confronted with that reality that I am a sinner we move we we run to Jesus we don't double down on the law we don't make a resolution that okay 2024 I will not sin it doesn't work we run to Jesus and in Jesus we're made righteous which means we are cleansed which means the Holy Spirit can reside in us which means the Holy Spirit can guide us what we do is this thing today we're with Jesus tomorrow we're with Moses next week we're with Elijah tomorrow we're with Jesus the holy spirit is like dude man which one which one it's like it's like you take a shower then you jump into the mud you take you jump is it because do you think because it's convenient it's because I I honestly train a child in the way that he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it this is our training I actually had a question when you were talking about like part of your job is to empower us I guess what what would that look like for the church like if if if pastors that are doing what they're supposed to do with empowering the Saints and the Saints are actually doing what they're supposed to do okay empowering the Saints means teaching the Saints teaching the Saints right when the saints are confronted with a challenge that is beyond their level of Faith right you step in and you support the Saints so for example if somebody's sick and you pray for the person and the person is not healed right then you come to the pastor right or the Elders of the church if somebody offends you you go talk to the person if the person does not hear eventually you come to the elders we're not the first call right we are the last call God is the first call like spiritual support yes no I mean so yeah spiritual but what happens is this you have a headache you pick up the phone and you call your pastor right um um you don't try because you have not been encouraged to try literally teaching the word if if I tell you today that you are righteous right you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus you are his Masterpiece created onto good works you can come into the presence of God with boldness and ask him for anything if I tell you that and I tell you that every single Sunday you come to church one day you wake up and your hip is out of joint you know what you do you put your hand on your hip and you pray our levels will change now uhuh I'll go from small what I tell you this what I tell you I'll tell you that today you you you you just wake up and pray you didn't 5:00 a.m. you have to do the work let me tell you a story there's a man if you go by his bed you see two holes in the carpet that is where he knes they make these things sound so hard right and what the Lord does by pointing out our inadequacies right our inability to keep it we run to Jesus what we have been taught points out our inadequacies but rather than send us to sends us to the pastors and that's a problem right we should teach people to the point where they actually feel like you know what I can I can talk to God myself you know I'm I'm good enough do you think that's too much responsibility you think for the person to be like ah I have to go on my own I'm I'm just CU like like could it be that because I have made it seem right that I am special that's why I have that responsibility that's why I can go to God right I'm I'm I'm more spiritual than you I read that I'm holier than you I don't do the nonsense you do I wake up in the second watch to pray you know I'm a Watchman standing on the walls what are you doing why you are Kroger yes or you snoring at I was praying I was on my knee look at the carpet you know people just be going about just listening to music anyhow and then you want to just come here and and Carry Your Chest these things are not like that spiritual things are for strong men you that you like milk this is meat we're talking about and all of these things what it does is that it discourages you it tells you you're not good enough it tells you you can't you can't you can't but I can cuz I've done the work I've done the work I'm a spiritual Juggernaut so God will hear me before he hears you why do you want to talk to God when you know he can just give me some money and I'll talk to God on your behalf why do you want to do that work but guess what that was the model nobody could offer sacrifice you can't just offer sacrifice you have to go to the priest and the priest will offer the sacrifice for you you can't even enter the presence of God only the high priest can enter once a year so be that is the model of the levitical priesthood but the church has not been called to the levitical priesthood or the ironic priesthood we've been called to be priests according to the order of melchisedek right the model is different and it's not just a pastor it is everybody who is in Christ we are a royal priesthood right we need to and this is why I keep talking about the recipe because all of these things are in the Bible do you think I was thinking about you talking about do you think reason why I'm just going to be thr random reasons now why we are more in love with the rules than with Grace is because we are afraid that uh if the message of Grace and Christ is preached and preached without any agenda people would just be doing anyhow well look at the look at look at Paul look at the church in the the new church in in you know um Galatians Ephesians um Thessalonians Philippians all of those churches Corinthians even those were the worst there was problem people will take it for license you don't change the message you chastise the people what we have done that the fear you think like people in leadership are saying man we got to be careful how we preach this because some people just go that's part of it that's part of it right that's part of it but again this is what I say listen I'm not the holy spirit's policeman right my job is to preach the gospel make disciples right and the Holy Spirit will deal with the folks who step out of line as he sees feet when Paul who wrote most of the New Testament preached the gospel people took it for license why do you think you will preach it and nobody would take it for license Paul preached it some people took it for license to the point where somebody was sleeping with his father's wife what did he do he said deal with the guy he didn't change his message we change the message because of that guy and invariably put everyone else in bondage because of that guy that's Madness deal with the guy kick him out whatever deal with him don't change the message so do we not like random so do we not believe in God's justice like are we so afraid that ah let me customize the message because I know God is let me yes let me tell like why are we so why do want to control things so bad let me tell you why let me tell you why and ignorance not bad thing let me tell you it is simply because we conflict the Old Testament the old Covenant with the New Covenant we hear all the we read about all the things that God did to Israel right all the Judgment right that happened because of their sin and we forget or don't know that that is exactly what Christ came to Deliver Us from so we're trying to deliver ourselves from what happened to those guys we don't want it to happen to us remember that God will bless a righteous Nation right so we think that our righteousness comes from burning abortion and burning homosexuality that's that's a Fool's erand you will never buy that's a whole different episode now no but that's the truth I know it's a conversation we having that top what we think so so in a church say ah the power of God cannot manifest everybody is a sinner it was while we were still Sinners that Christ died for us the power of God was most powerful when I was in my worst sin so is it now that somebody comes to church and they are still Sinners that the holy spirit will say okay no no no no no no no I'm not going to touch them I'm not going to speak to them come on but if you read about Israel and Judah right and what happened with uh Nebuchadnezzar and Cyrus you're like no no no no we can't afford we can't afford that we can't let that happen to us how is that going to happen to you if you're in Christ so that is what they're trying to protect against the sincere folks they don't want a repeat of what happened to Israel right but we are not operating under the same Covenant as Israel we're not right so we can't be driven by that fear Bible says perfect love casts out all fear oh you know what's funny ah PF we are speaking in the spirit so uh you know we typically make a do a segment called make a case and uh she when I discussed that that uh that verse first John I think four or something I'm not sure what chapter it was and I was going to say tining to to fear cuz again you said the sincere folks the ones that are guarding the law with their hearts because they afraid that people will just do any under the message of Grace yeah um so sorry to interrupt you you know who else was like that so afraid of people messing up and getting everybody into trouble you know who else was like that the Pharisees the Sadducees the scribes that's that was that was their thing to stop people from getting us into trouble so what does that tell you we have become modernday Pharisees some of us in our ripped jeans ripped jeans Pharisees suit wearing phes Anar anares I should bees cornrows wearing Pharisee earrings nose ring Pharisees all Pharisee I was I was going to say for us to wrap up no no I mean you you know on the head um uh I was going to say for when I to make a case segment for for you to if there was somebody out there that just to kind of Round Table back on love right there's someone out there that is not experiencing the fruits of the spirit right like or they are in constant fear yeah and you were to tell have have a word or something for them make a case for Christ and I was going to give you like two minutes to be able to kind of like talk to that person so I I would say to them the fear that you feel is is not of God right the frustrations that you feel is not of God those frustrations are supposed to drive you to God and when you go to God when you get to God he says my yoke is easy and my burden is light if your yoke is not easy and I keep saying this and and I'm going to keep saying it until the day I die if your Christianity is not easy and your Christianity is not light you're not yoked to Jesus you're not yoke to Jesus you go to church you've been doing this all your life you haven't been doing it with Jesus Jesus was just a door that you got diverted from and entered Moses the frustration comes from Moses doesn't come from Christ so whoever it is that's listening and and you're struggling you're struggling because you're trying to do what God has already done for you and the letter it only kills it doesn't bring any life if you come to Christ Christ not religion not not the letter not the
